For day trade my bias need to be validated and it was not for now.
Tipical Ny can be hours cooking until start showing the intentions to next day.

My two long position hit SL by 0.01, unlucky. made me up 18 for the day, could have been up 400 but alas, greed got best of me! Still learning, need to manage my discipline better.

i whould like to ask some question to you....but no need to hurryup to answer...in your convenience time .

as i am newbie in the term of deviation...is that any resource...book site or whatever i can kearn?

Whet the deviation 1 or 2 or 0,5 refers to?( you mentioned several time)

How deviation calculated ...i mean by indi or sonering else?
Or whole deviation concept i can kearn.

Use fibonacci tool but change the setings to 0.25 / 50 / 75 and do the same for extensions.
It will give you relevant price levels from the high or the low of previous candle, measuring from the bodie alsowork, not all times price respect one, but the other, is why i have charts open for each one method and TF for reference and see what can hold price.
When you start doing this and watching price carefull at those levels you will notice the fractal tf that best suite for breaks and rejections aka experience.
And notice that price stops in a way that show it is not random the breaks and retests.
I don't follow any book, i find this by my own, years studying to simplify targets perfectly achievel.
Is just one tool that supports my setups.

Basically i aplly quarter theory using prior day volatility.
Is also how i measure volatility, 1 deviation is the basic from the bodies, and 2 deviations the max. From the highs 0.5 the basic and 1 the max. You will notice they match majority of the time.


Notice that weekly reach 1 and monthly 2. And today daily exactly 0.5 from HL

Now i only trade Ny and London, i can be seen trading in Asia, but is because is part of Ny setup.
I traded Asia but is a mad girl that one, sleeps with everyone.
Price don't wait to kick off, you see people saying there are best hours to trade ( watch to much ict narratives ) but is not truth, what there are is time windows that cook the range for the remaining session and Ny have the consistency to be the queen of both setting the tone to next day. Forget setups in Asia they are not consistency.
What Ny built not necessary need to kick at Ny session.

I find the aha moment then. I knew you laughted at me when i trappen by bears during london session ....lol.( by yours concept i knew my mistake now)

Like to hear mad girl that sleep with every bull and bears ...lol.

Im still trying to learn exactly where to place my TP and SL, I sort of know when to take a trade, but Its hard for me to tell if price is going to go up or down after some confluences

If it is hard to tell, do not trade.
Trade only your beliefs when you are 100% confident of the PA .
Otherwise it's difficult to stay consistent..

I've been back testing an Asia setup that's given me an 88% win rate, I will be trying it live Monday. hope everyone is enjoying the weekend off.

Interesting week.. CME holds price to the dot. then, it continues to give a long squeeze making people believe it will continue higher, rather it dumps, because on a friday they want to grab their money. here is what i look at, coming Monday, it will take the low of friday or expect a gap up (News Driven cos of Govt Shutdown) .. you are now trading the EOM candle that is being printed.. see your 4hr candle and the weekly you have only two days, Monday and Tuesday.. to complete your monthly.. and those who follow Commitment of Traders, see the attachedweekly report - more longs added this week.
