Bearish CHOCH example...
3 candles arranged thus...buy, sell and buy, creating higher high. Then a sell candle closes below the first buy candle of that 3 candle sequence. You have a bearish CHOCH.
Reverse for Bullish CHOCH.

To me, the 3 candle sequence is a BOS.
And when BOS is broken it results into CHOCH.

But that is textbook illustration. I just gave you real candlestick illustration I learnt myself.
One more thing, the candles sequence might be more than 3, but a sell candle must be in-between.
