Gold started showing sell signals so it's likely going to sell during nfp but it has to be supported by the nfp data because the prevailing trend is bullish just that it's giving sell signals today

same, i entered a couple positions in the last 30 mins but price quickly showed me it wasnt playing ball in either direction.

sitting this one out and praying the data is not mixed lol

In my view, If anyone is swing trader like me than we shouldn't trade against data.
Because in long term, its always going to respect it.
Last NFP worst.
Now this NFP even more worst.
I am looking Gold to Fly to 3700 in the coming week.
I will keep buying the dips unless there is some good news of dollar.
What are your thoughts about this?

Also, there is no news of USD before Wednesday NY..
So, till then gold can fall because its already overbought on HTFs and need retracement..
But the people will keep buying the dips..
I'll stay on the fact that in longer run 3700 is nothing for gold to achieve within next 2 weeks..

Bullish on gold this week technically and fundamentally however not naive enough to assume it will just move up in a straight line, I expect it to rebalance itself and potentially move down to 3572, if 3572 breaks, next downside target will be 3555, if that breaks, next target 3526 although i dont see that one coming into play.

After that, will be looking for longs back to weekly highs 3600 and beyond based on anticipated soft data coming later on in the week

Day trading Profitable System

In the last two months (starting 18-July, in the Gold Interactive, then here on this thread, after they debarred me from writing there), I wanted to show everyone (new and experienced traders), how a simple system can be traded profitably, by using strict trade management principles. Have a small edge (for Entry) and strict Exit rules.

I took (all live trades here, gave all the levels before I traded them) 83 trades in total and the account went up by 40%. Max risk per trade was 1.5%. You have all seen it here and its documented, so that you can verify it later.

The main idea was that irrespective of the method you follow of Entering a system (with any default SL/TP), you can make sure that you never lose if you have strict SL closing mechanism. Basically reduce the SL to break even as soon as you can, never ever increase the SL after you take trade and never ever reduce the TP after you take the trade. This simple thing will make sure that you never lose... And if you have an edge of Entry (like we had here of Bounce Points) then the system starts being profitable.

Anyway, I will not be giving any more levels/trades from today onward on this system. You can check my posts (they are all linked by quotes/replies) to see the trades. If you have anything to ask, you can DM me or write to me at [email protected]

Even if you need help with your system or maths/psychology of your system, I will be happy to help.

I am holding long now but not sure about the target as we are pretty much in uncharted territory
This is one thing that I need to improve my trading skill (to project target in uncharted territory) ...for now I rely on PA
