I've been on this journey a long while on this road to consistent profitability and I can't go back because I've burnt all my bridges, it's Forex or nothing.

Renko hasn't always been my favourite offline chart but now I see the power of t especially with the addition of the TIPU Renko indicator.

This will be my journal of trades taken and I wanna record all the emotional highs and lows and considerations for pulling the trigger.

Renko has made it so simple to find success, just capture 2 bricks per day and you are on your way to financial freedom.
Gold has enough volume to give satisfactory returns with little efforts, just master your entries and catch 2 bricks daily.

My preferred entries are divergence but when the MAs and TSI are in alignment I'm good to go.
Here I didn't pull the trigger because (I hate to admit it nut I was elated to escape with 34.8 pips after the trade had gone into draw-down of 16 pips, although I don't bail out of trades heading for my SL anymore I get worked up when price does that so when it turns and heads in my direction and I exit in profit, I get emotional and leave other opportunities alone thereby leaving money on the table).

In between I tried out GBPUSD and DAX

Looks like DAX is the easiest instrument to trade, I might look more into it later

If only this new filter would not be a repainter then that would be 90% added to m 10% effort.

From the title of the thread the focus is Gold.

When you discover a tool you try it out on several instruments and time frames before adopting it, that's the reason for checking the template out on DAX and Cable.

Just to wait for hidden divergence and pull the trigger.

To trade regular divergence the entry Trix and filter Trix should be showing similar divergence

And to the OP, Intrepid Pips, who I was addressing, appreciate you taking my short acidic post in the way it was intended. I realise it’s a general post that can be taken as hollow, motivational hang on the wall words… but it’s true.
Hone your edge. Target a set number of pips. Manage your risk. Trading is a personal game. In your case, I would seriously consider forgetting the indi’s.. analysis paralysis with lack of trade conviction and continual uncertainty.
Yoiu want to use indi’s…choose the correct trade vehicles, blow out to hourly plus time frames, trade ADR extensions or RSI OB ( over bought not order blocks ) & OS. Add to these positions and play for a return to the mean. Have a hard stop for those trades that run against your trade positioning. Manage risk.

I missed the LO opportunity by just a few minutes there was a HD (Hidden Divergence) then I was not available for the other moves.

I took a Regular Divergence (RD) at NY O and went for just one brick.
I have some things to do so I will call it a day.
