As we are looking at a a correction after a sustained bull run, I suspect, looking at it with a little fresh perspective, we could see one final flush out around 3380 / 3390 area - there isn’t much by the way of news that will kick us lower (yet) as far as I can see.

Slight hesitation to this prediction was the Asian trading session last night, they are and have been super bullish ‘ buying but could we be seeing that slow down ?

still aiming for that 3000 area, good decent retest of the BRN before heading higher in the run up to Christmas / Q1 2026

keeping positions at 3390 open because as much as we can predict, none of us really know, only Mr Market.

will be opening more if we see decent higher levels and watching the PA.

Having said all of that……

Very possible we go 3296 first, if it fails and holds we’re on, if it doesn’t then we test the upper.

I see many fellow traders complaining about the tight range. Gold cannot break below, cannot break above either. Right now Gold is best for the range traders who rely on s/r lines and s/d zones. It's probably a technical analysis heaven for them now It's a great example that shows us in the financial markets, there's unlimited ways to trade. There's no right or wrong approach. There's room and time for everything.

I think Gold more or less found it's equilibrium. That's why the reactions were muted and limited even towards the high impact datas/events. Maybe it's an August thing but right now Gold is not my preferred instrument to trade.

So if you like trading ranges and choppy markets, you will thrive here. If you need a clear direction/trend like i do, then it's better to move on to other instruments (my favourite is SP500 lately )

Good luck and good week to all, it's important to know when to trade, what to trade and how to trade. I always ask these 3 questions to myself (when, what, how) to keep it effective and productive

Whatever you think, generally im against war, but they are laughing on Ukraine that for sure.

gold is ranging most of the time.., and i am looking for a point of reverse mostly..,
but Tuesday could be /just from my experience/ “onedirectionstrongmove” day..,
there no big news today (?!)..,
so for today i am looking to catch “general” direction.., if no.., only “my tiny four-twenty pips scalping”
