Today’s Bias: Short

• Same short zone as yesterday, but it’s getting weaker. Sellers couldn’t break 3350, and buyers failed to push up—so it’s still not a confirmed buyer area.
• I need clear seller strength in my short zone. If I see weakness or hesitation, I’m not interested.

Forecast is green data. This could dump harder than an aftermath of a dodgy kebab. However looking for a vantage point to trade from. 3355 as AR mentioned might be sufficient. The bears look a fair bit stronger too so any move up is being bitch slapped down

Hey, do yous place your trades just before the news or after?
I either get stopped out if my bias is wrong and the news causes price to jump 100+ pips or if I wait till after I've already missed the train and my entry point is always whack... Can someone advise me on news trading and how you plan your entry please?

What you just said means you FOMO into positions during news. I would highly recommend you don't do that - You will lose 80% of the time and then you start chasing loses when it goes the wrong way. Plan you news trades a day or two before. NFP - CPI usually have the day before to manipulate the market for more profit.

Use Price Action to give you your signal to get into the Market. Once you ace that you'll make a fortune. Best of waiting for News to settle and then using price action take your trade. You'll be surpised how good it works

this is just what i do and works for me, there is no rulebook

i personally get ready for the news and open X, type in CPI and keep refreshing it each second until it comes out at the countdown, then i generally execute my trades on the spot because i know what i have been waiting for. If its mixed, i stay away.

i personally dont wait for technical confirmation in news time, and yes we often do see a strong move into drawdown first to catch some retail traders, but personally this doesnt bother me, and when people tell me ' be careful entering trades in news time gold can go the opposite' well yes thats why risk management exist, but i personally execute immediately when i see the news unless its mixed.

But i never have any positions open coming up to the news. Just have your finger ready on the button lmao. No point like trying to catch it an hour later hahaha

Gold is ready to go, targeting 3296 to 3286 low side (piority). Waiting for a good breakout at news. Target up side at 342x if price close H4 above 337x
