If one gets past the sarcastic first two sentences of your comment (a separated paragraph might have been good), it's great to see that someone has a correct methodology but why is it pertinent to share it in THIS particular thread?

3430$ is the main resistance on gold as the price has failed 4 times already to close above it on daily chart. Break above suggests significant rally, otherwise the price will probably retrace 15% - 20% from the high.

I think the price will go up and down, so you might want to sell and buy. Remember folks: buy at the top and sell at the bottom. Be smart, do exactly what other 95% are doing.

On a serious note... it's not that people buy at the top and sell at the bottom usually. The problem is early profit taking and not taking a loss after one realizes the setup was wrong and is hoping for things to turn around. Procrastinating with the loss is a killer. This is why you need to have profit and loss target at all times, a plan. Think about the trade for some time before you take it. See at which point you think (or the system you're using) that the setup has been successful or has failed, place your trade and stop loss and take profit orders. So, at this price the pattern is complete, tp is here and that's it. At this price the pattern has failed to materialize and this is where I'll put my sl. Also, every time you start moving tp and sl after initially placing them is a sign that you don't know exactly what you're doing and this will eventually lead to a loss, even if you manage to get out of the loss here and there, because you lack consistency and plan.

Due to "should I buy or sell gold" and similar comments that are telling me that these people need a serious advice on trading, rather than simple answer of buy or sell. I don't know, but comments like these are buffling me. It might just be bots, which is probable, however it they aren't bots, then the way in which they're taking trading (totally unprofessional) is worrying me. Asking questions like that isn't necessary. Just go to gold chart and open the trade, as uneducated guess is as good as any other uneducated guess one might receive in the comment section. And even if it is someone who does trade and has some idea, following the plan and trades of another person is also unprofessional and you'll be left with nothing when that person is gone. Actually, these questions are annoying, as they show one has no intention of even trying to learn.
