XAUUSD Outlook – August 5, 2025

Following the break of yesterday’s 3368 high, price has now retested that level and is holding within the zone. I’m currently watching for possible entry confirmations to drive price further to the upside. Waiting patiently to see if momentum picks up from this retest.

Guy quick question.....
if i want to place some traade for example a trade worth 0.04 so should i place 4 0.01 trades or 1 0.04 trades ...and does the same goes for the bigger lot sizes and whats the reason for it

Well I divide them up because I have multiple targets and I close each at multiple points but you can also open only one like 0.04 and partially close it. Like close only 0.02 and keep the other 0.02 running so at the end of the day it's up to you. Whichever is convenient for you.

Price is currently approaching yesterday’s breaker block, with a second point of interest resting just below. Watching closely for reaction and potential entries as price taps into these key zones. No confirmation yet — staying patient.

They (brokers) design & build all kind of Take profit features allowing you to tp/scale-out in bits but none for stop loss.

So what do you think?

Brokers prioritize TP flexibility because it aligns with their liquidity needs—closing profitable trades in chunks reduces their risk. But SLs? They benefit from stop hunts and slippage...
