Clashes over trade and economic policy, technological issues and defense and security have been commonplace between China and the EU — and tensions have recently been heating up. it doesn't make sense, even if US interest rate is lowered, EU and UK interest rates are much lower, as a comparison still US interest rate will be much higher ... And it's not all about interest rate ... The US economy is doing much better than the rest of the world ... It's not making sense

Oh please ...stop being a hard butt ... Chinese like to make it sound like it's the end of the world ... Trump won the trade war... Deal with Japan , Indonesia and Philippines are done ...was it that Hard ?
Most of the Tarrifs are between 10% -15% and just Negotiate without an Attitude please

Right and the same applies to US housing markets. Looks like there is a perfect storm brewing.

Take a look at the EURUSD value in 2008. That's where we might be heading to.

Monetary and simple economics does not justify a future inflation figure....
Where is the geopolitics and fiscal adjustments in the data?? and i mean all the data and data changes...

Let me simplify this for you. Last year I had most of my funds in USD. After DT took over, I reduced my my USD risk with 50% and bought EUR and CHF. This is what the markets have also been doing.

IF EU also gets the 15% tariff "deal" and EURUSD goes to 1.20 level, it means that the European products will become 30% more expensive in the long run. Housing markets will be tanking at the same time because people cannot afford the 7% mortgage rates any more.

FED cannot lower rates because of inflation is increasing. The end result will be a depression worse than 2008. So how exactly Trump is winning?

The US isn't complicating things, things were already complicated. The last meeting between the EU and Beijing didn't go well, and the EU isn't tremendously pleased that Beijing continues to prop Russia up in its war against Ukraine.
Every democratic nation in the world is clamoring for an alternative to an authoritarian trade partner that can cut off access to critical things a country needs, and the writing is on the wall for China.
