I have buy limit orders for both with a default 1.5 point SL, will manage the trade when it gets executed and will be back with those levels on this thread...
Isn't your stop loss too tight? That's very scary for me.
Gold can easyly catch the SL even in the right direction.

Strong move in the Asian session. I had a sell but closed after NewYork session. Before closing thought of letting it open and set tp at 3421. Would have worked buy too large size was open for me

Yess, the tightest possible... hehehe... Its almost one point with some spread in entry and exits included... yes there will be times when u get stopped out by just a few decimals and it goes in your direction... but thats true for all SLs : )

If gold closes below 3420 on the 5-minute chart, it signals a potential break of the 3420 level. In that case, the risk of a short-term pullback increases. If the downtrend continues, the next support area is around 3402–3405.

I’d be extremely cautious with Gold today. The market can see the deal being made between US and JPY as a good thing which could boost the dollar hence lowering the price of gold. Of course, other factors are still at play such as the wars, rate cuts etc. Also, we’ve had a crazy increase in the past few days so today might be just be a normal retracement/pullback before the bullish run continues.

In short, nobody really knows what’s going to happen. Trade safe

thanks, you're right! although it did have quite a pullback overnight, im thinking that was the market pricing it in, but again who knows, like you said..
would like to see gold get back up to 3432 at least

I don’t see why we can’t get back to 3432. Certainly looks reachable and just a few pips off. Do you have a long position and hoping to TP there?
