Hey guys, quick one as I've been a little busy.
For those wanting to know when to start looking for trades, you can use the zero level cross alert in Nova alert settings.
If you check the H4 first though for the trend direction EMA's below (bullish), EMA's above (bearish)
When price crosses the zero level up on the H1/H4 (IN UPTREND) we are highly likely to continue up on the H4 targetting the previous high.
You can also use it on the M15,M30 - The lower the TF the earlier you get the signal.
I would recommend M15 zero level crosses with the M1 and H1 maybe with the M5... it's up to you do your own checks.
Now for the main part, when you get a signal on your medium TF (knowing what the h4 signal line is doing - crossing or almost crossing 0 level) then go down to the M1 and you'll notice that the EMA's are flipping or about to flip in the direction of the H4 main trend.
You can mark a line at every 0 level cross if you like and then you will see what I mean but I'll show you some examples below:
I learnt this from a good friend on here when I used to use a custom MACD and it was an eye opener for me to know where price is more likely to go... as long as structure is being respected.
Here is the H4 on GOLD last month. Can see the vertical lines marked up and then what happens after the signals
also - you need to work out where price could be headed to which in this case was that gap on far left (circled in yellow).
After, volume reduced and the signal line started to curve back up... always know where the signal line is on the H4 to not get caught out.
This is what it looks like on the M15 - but you can use the M30 or H1 if you prefer.
Here is the M15 marked up with the crosses you'll want to use on the M1 - We'll focus on the last arrow i marked for the M1
Then when you head over to the M1 and you see the EMA's have flipped or are flipping and that just gives you confirmation to start hammering nova to the POI you have chosen.
So here is when price turned bullish on M1 which is the white vertical line from the M15 signal line cross.
Remember, if H4 is crossing the signal line then you want to align with it.
And see the big trend we get? it doesnt fit on the screen properly but that is how you can get some crazy RR or just a nice period of gains.
Yes when H4 is crossing there is going to be some small up and down trends before the big move happens so that is why it's a good idea to work out where price is looking to bounce from on the H4 and mark out areas for breakouts etc...
This is more advanced but once you understand you won't really need to wonder where price is heading.

Following structure, I marked out the last move that broke the last high with a fib and price is trying to break the 78.6 area but its wicking.
It doesn't mean don't trade BUT its in a risky area right now as if price can't break 78.6 and turns bullish (still in bullish structure) then the next logical target would be recent highs again.
If it breaks down lower below the low of where I marked the fib then it could be the start of gold going bearish for a while.
My fibs were marked from where the volume came from to break the high and not from the bottom move.... you can use a fib on both but I use the one that is being respected at the key levels first.
EDIT: Price is already breaking lower now so now to see if things turn bearish now. 78.6 is my last level for the bulls before things break much lower and possible break the lows.
Id be keeping my eye on here first:

Gold M5. Got in a bit early based on the break out and my stoch cross, 2 positions.
Then set my TP as i was away, which in hindsight was early.....but I'm happy.
Stop was below yellow ema so it got close.
The perfect entry (less risky and same profit outcome) would have been after the retest of the break.
OR simply following the Nova rules.
