BTW: ENUM is just a defined integer type to store a specific value.
So, your question doesn't make any sense...
You can define: int TimeFrame = 0;
Or you can define ENUM_TIMEFRAMES TimeFrame = PERIOD_CURRENT;
When you use int, you must remember the actual numbers for timeframes, and the user also needs to know those numbers.
When you use ENUM_TIMEFRAMES, you don't need to remember the actual numbers, you use the ENUMs which are more user friendly.
Also for the user, because they get a list in simple text format.
So, whichever method you use, you monitor higher timeframes in the same way.

i call it the 50 % rule

attached is examples of trades i look for

basically its on the 30 minute timeframe, i look for a candle that closes 50 % of the previous candle and not close past the high or low , within 2 candles

take a look and let me know if it can be done

Please coders i need 2ma crossover added to this indicator with the option to change the mas to any type in the input, the indicator is doing fine and the threshold for entry is 75 i only need the addition of the mas to work along with the signal. Thanks

Hello everyone and good day to you all, I made an EA, started back-testing it like a week now, and below are the results of the EA on XAUUSD from three different brokers JUSTMARKETS, ICMARKETS and EXNESS BROKERS, same settings and everything.....but the result differs a-lot, even the graph, the one for JUSTMARKETS aint very smooth, the others are too smooth for me.

And for three days now, in a forward testing with a demo account of like 6-7hrs, the JUSTMARKET broker is showing better results than the others with the smooth curve

next i am planning on running the EAs on a VPS, for a week or so

but before then i came to hear what people can say about such a case of mine, how do I handle the situation from the experiences you guys have in forex trading and EA stuffs.

by the way, 1st picture is Justmarkets result with $400 profit, 2nd picture Icmarkets with $1000 profit, and 3rd pic for exness broker with $1600 profit
