FTMO just said that they will not pay me out and banned my account for no reason. I had 2 payouts before on my 100k funded acc and when I wanted to make third payout they just sent me mail that they will not make that payout because of reverse trading which is not true. When they have to pay traders they just make up something from their terms & conditions and you don't have any right to prove your innocence. After this happened to me, I read bad reviews on trustpilot and many people had same problem. Be careful

FTMO is worse then most of the big prop… They removed my first review, so I'm writing a new one... I have two funded accounts - one 200k and one 250k. Last week I requested a payout of 6244$ and after sending them 4 emails and contacting them via the chat 3-4 times a week later I received an email that because I risked more than 1% ( I lost 1.2% in the position in question due to extreme volatility) they won't pay me and they will ban me. They blocked my 2 funded accounts due to %1 risk per trade idea rule which they don't show you in the first place because they want to suck your money with this hidden rule in the contracts. If you gonna get people's money this way, you should put this in front while people buying challenge instead of unnecessary things like %5 daily loss.

I have made a few payouts with them but recently they decided that I couldn't trade the way I always used to trade. You can't see anywhere on their website that you should only risk 1%. But it is on their contract and there is nothing that you can do about it.

I made a few payouts, got into the leaderbord of my type of account twice because I made 20% of the account and then out of nowhere they said i was risking too much (2% of the account per trade) and said that I couldn't do that anymore otherwise they would deny payouts and things like that. It even got to a point where I approved a account, went through the whole process of challenge and verification and they denied me the account saying that I would have to go through it again because i risked more than 1% per trade. If you're considering trading with them, you should reconsider, I'm also banned from their platform and know a succesful trader who is also banned as well.

The company has the best reputation and uses it in the best way, to cheat people. I took a couple of accounts with them and passed them, had a couple of payouts totaling $50,000, after that they sent me that I entered their prime status with which you supposedly get some benefits, but in fact I got banned and lost all accounts.

Where to start.... FTMO appears like a legitimate company. Once you start to make profits, they will pay you out...a couple of times. Once you consistently make money they will make any excuse to ban you. I had an account running for 4 months with a payout every 4 weeks. Just for some reference Im an experienced trader with 5 years behind me. Im fully aware of daily breaches/limits and was nowhere near. They came up with some excuses about multiple accounts

It's been more then 1 week I've passed ftmo challenge complete fairly and by following all their rules but they are not providing me funded account additionally they denied to refund my challenge fees also with whom I've purchased challenge

Whilst FTMO is legit and I know of people receiving payouts, they are not who they pretend be. Rules are 5% drawdown a day and 10% overall; break those and you out. Once I passed the first challenge , they send you an email saying max loss around 1% per trade, which you will accept as its the only way to get the live account They do this to protect themselves as should you make lots and you go higher than 1% loss, they wont pay you. If the rules are max loss of 1% per trade than that should be in the terms from the start. I wouldn't have paid for a single challenge if that was the rules. They make them loose from the start as then people can be aggressive and way quicker for guys to blow the challenge which is all they really want. You cant pick and choose which rules you want for different traders. To add to it I paid for 12 challenges and then on my last challenge which I passed they refused my account because I went over the 1% . My max draw down was 1.8% and 1.3% , but I did have a bigger losing trade when I was way up on the day and that they said was unacceptable.

Hello traders all around the world, i hope everyone is fine and doing well. I just want to inform you about the fraud tactics about one of the most old prop firm and big player of proprietary trading which name is ftmo. Recently i have passed my 2 account of 200k and they refuse to give me funded account without showing any proof of excessive risk. My per trade risk was 1%. Its really strange to see an email from ftmo that you are not eligible for funded account and we are terminating our contract. I have asked proof and also invite for an interview to come and ask anything about my strategy but they deny everything and block all access.

I am at core a swing trader, but futures props intrigued me. Everyone says it's harder to pass. Tiny sample, but I tried one and passed on first attempt - and a half, with a reset. Took me a lot longer to pass a cfd challenge. Profit targets are lower in futures, and I stopped when 2 bad strikes. Now, Futures are limited in products and window of opportunity. Like Cryptosurf has said, you have a certain time slot in NY to operate with enough vol to catch your reward, 50 to 100 p on NQ most days. Monty does it in Tokyo but he is mainly long directional...
