Great system and i am still learning it in demo. May i ask what made ur mind to shift of accepting losses and wait for winner. Some say trading is 80% mind 20% strategy. What do you think on this ? Or did the system itself help you to shift ur mind since you can see overall u are making money?

It seems like all my comments on this post have been ignored. I have another question: When the price is going up and Nova keeps giving buy signals, but we know the price can't go up forever and will eventually come down — how can we avoid entering a long position at the top if Nova keeps signaling to buy?

I just became confident in my system after testing it for a while.

Before Nova I already had a good system but Nova just took things next level in terms of the volume of trades I could take per day.

I see so many wins that a loss just seems like nothing really, especially if you are taking 5R+ on some trades within a trend.

Like playing super mario, you lose lives on the way to beating the game... I just see trading like a video game.

One of the strengths of nova is that with a correct nova entry there is seldom any drawdown. Very satisfying to see a position go straight into profit.

A bit different entry but nova was a good confluence here to see the bearish momentum, to others this may seem a bit dumb but it was taken with other HTF confluences and a bit of discretion. +3.25RR

Careful though as we are tapping into my pois from yesterday so price could bounce.

Nova doing spectacularly today as usual on gold and I don't even need to show examples (I will when I get home)

It's really and truly golds worst nightmare. Oh and of course it also works on anything.

For single entries to be honest 95% of the time I just let them go to target. If I'm unsure then I'll BE at 1:1+ as there's nothing worse than it going to 1.8R and then you take a silly loss.

If scaling (adding positions) then I'll make sure the previous positions are set to BE before entering new ones.

Having had a look at what gold has been doing I can't say for certain how many I'd have taken once price hit yesterdays poi.

I expected for there to be a reaction but up to 12R available there.

Hi! if it's reasonable to ask here, how did you identify this poi? did you use the volume profile because it has a VA there? or is this a downtrend break zone or are these the pivots that were mentioned earlier? I'm sorry if the question is not relevant in this topic.

I literally just mark the recent highs that stick out to me and trade towards them on the M1.

It's pretty much support and resistance as then when price breaks through it in an uptrend (resistance) it will most likely become support.

Where I've circled is where we were yesterday trading nova.

I don't target pips - I just risk a certain percentage of my account and aim to get at least 2R back in return for each trade.

By trading this way you don't get stuck thinking about pips and it's the best for account growth and not being greedy. (help psychology)

I can't even remember the last time I counted pips lol
