WTO is supposed to be sth like this, and many of the rules are favourable to US.
But to US, this is not enough.
it wanna use WTO against others, but absolutely do not want to be bind by it.

Well, now they found out, without the rules, other countries can fuck them over too.

The best part yet is, China can also cease all rare earth exports should it want to increase pressure on Trump in its softening up of him in preparation for the knockout punch.

This will likely be delivered with the tossing of a small bone that Trump can wave around as a big victory but this damage to reputation cannot be salvaged.

Trump appears to be doubling down until there is no more down.

I know NOTHING about details, but wouldn't this actually assign LESS foolishness to Trump?

The EU isn't making a deal with him. He settles a rare earth deal with China. Part of that deal is to provide these to the US, but limit those to the EU (strengthening the US position ). Again, I have ZERO knowledge about this. I am just "tin foil hatting" the few tweets I see above.
