I was thinking that FTMO only passes on the price data including the spread (not adding a markup). But yes, maybe that’s even worst than brokers making their own prices.

For the most part, spreads on FX pairs seem to be quite low at FTMO (0.2 on EUR/USD, 0.6 on GBP/USD right now) but for indices it seems high to me. I also didn‘t suffer from any slippage so far (also not with the brokers as mentioned in my previous post).
Do we know which liquidity providers they use?
Can someone explain to me why the spread with FTMO for indices is twice as high as with many other brokers? For example, with Ger40.cash, I get an average spread of 2.5 points, while with IG, RoboForex, AfterPrime, and many others, which offer commission-free indices, it's less than 1 point.
on the FTMO website I see around 1.5 average spread for Ger40 , you say it is 2.5 on your account ?!

Wow, that surprises me. I'm not American myself, but I've set up offshore companies several times to avoid such things.
Never had any problems so far. 15%. Hehe, I'll think about it ;-)
