    Business activity continued to decline in New York State in June, according to firms responding to the Empire State Manufacturing Survey. The headline general business conditions index fell seven points to -16.0. New orders and shipments declined. Delivery times held steady, and supply availability worsened. Inventories were little changed. Employment grew slightly for the first time in several months, while the average workweek held steady. Nah, why would anyone care to understand THAT?!? Or, even better, to look back at how abysmally poor the estimates have been to actuals and/or how poor the survey has resulted in the past (during times of stock market strength....like in early 2024).

The riots made will not make it better. The (beautiful) tariffs is a disaster amatour activity where he loses on all fronts, and will make the eco data bad next periods. The best indicator is the sell off of the USD made by those that realized they lost a safe haven. Deporting all farmer`s workers, and manufacturing industry will not make this better as business capacity and production slows. He was told many times, but realize first now (his statement made 3 days ago) that the deportation should not include all farmer workers. Who will will work on the farms....the MAGA retards...?
