Is it lying to a Congress if the you can say "the president changed his mind later in the day"?


On the other hand, I can defend the position that Bessent's message and Trump's snippets above are in sync.....so take all of this banter for what it is worth (not much)

Gold is ripping though......so there's that. Geopolitical turmoil, tariffs, recession fear, or other......it is spiking higher currently after a lackluster day.
