Absolutely, there are many things to consider: time of day (session), strong or weak USD, reference price to MA's of choice, yesterday's levels, daily range, mood of the market. I find this time right now, London 11 to 1 (lunch) and New York 6 to 8 am, to be usually a dead zone, consolidation.

I tried PVSRA candles but prefer these RSI based candles.

Got it. My entry long for this trade wasn’t good because the EMA 50 on the M15 hadn’t peaked yet or turn very convex, and then it got caught in a sell-off. However, usually the curve will rise if there's a big bullish candle. Indeed, there wasn’t a blue candle before the trade was opened.

But I’m not using the original version of PVSRA—I’m using my own version with my own developed rules
