All good... Everyone is on their own path in this never ending journey..

Traders are very much like fingerprints...no two the same
No two will execute the same or manage the trade the same.

There are always subtle differences and nuances with each individual and how they process information and emotions to execute their process..

Dig thru my posts on Price Bob thread you will find some there for now other than that I share privately with some trading friends.

Okay, wrapping up some of my own thoughts/observations for the week (a good week ended)

Trading to script

I witness over the past year many traders will swap and change their own indicator templates on top of their same pair.

Where the market operation (mechanics), underneath the indis, still operates the same regardless of the overlays. As I view it .
Are all the indis (and multiple templates) needed
Well each to their own of course

But what are the mechanics, the operations (underneath the indi/templates).
Well the mechnaics could be be determined using maths I guess.
AND/OR our eyes.

But based on ... what ????
Well again, each to their own in this.

But I have long thought (believed) that if the market is going
Then it is going
to an actual SOMEWHERE

And that somewhere might likely be where ‘other’ traders could ENTER (a new trade)
or EXIT (on their TP/SL)


I was trading GJ myself yesterday, it ran pretty much to the same script,
ie the current Week Open was Friday's top/hi of the day and 193.000 BRN the Lo, with bermuda’s running inside the day’s action - based on GU & UJ actions)


USDJPY seemed to also fit (yesterday) imo, hope all got their piece of the action on offer yesterday

yes I could tell english wasn't your first language based on my reading of your first post wordings to bluesteele

blue didnt take offence at your wording and neither should you about mine imo

its just the usual issue with "context" and the limited english language for that on social media

(unless of course you are super sensitive, we have had posters here before put up a post and then come back to delete them
- sometimes just because they didn't get an uptick)

Hi bam
Can be done
A bit tricky till you've tried it.

Normally you will LEFT-Click on Quote to open a reply to someone.

Once you have done this leave it unfinished and go back to the next post you wish to reply but this time do a RIGHT-click and choose Open Link In NEW Tab
then go that new tab and write your reply - then cut & paste it back on the first reply you did
as long as you keep the quote and /quote from the 2nd reply at the start and finish of (edit) your the quoted text it should work on the actual original reply you did
add your reply after that

There may be a quicker way if someone else knows, but that is how I do it if I need to

Their good but not Carling
Long story short
had some Ill Health which was very painful
our wonderful NHS
instead of finding the cause
Kept filling me up with painkillers
which did nothing for the pain
but sure messed my head up

Two charts, if nobody has dug into yours yet, the first your tried & true Murrey Maths, the 2nd an abonacci template.

While you will know more about MMths,
Andy will tell you, I am sure, that I have discussed abonacci with him a couple of years ago.
I think it has merits. I studied it.
The trouble I always found for myself with such templates (and MMths also) is "where" do we put the top and bottom line if the indi does not do that for us.

If the indi DOES that for us & sets its own Hi/Lo then what were the thoughts behind the indi-makers reasons for choosing "that" top and bottom.
For example swing indis (such as ZZ) are observable with the eye (and maths) but only AFTER the swing is 'confirmed' else the market can still run further creating a DD situation that could get out of control on days such as grinders.

I, after trying so many methods & indis, came out at the end just looking for areas where 'other traders' may show interest (I call them trader aattractor targets as you know).

The concept behind that reasoning is that if a group of diverse traders (eg pivot traders, swing traders, hi-lo traders, market open traders etc) all come in at or around a similar place on the charts and 'do something' eg trade, then the larger market might see that confluence of diverse traders enter with a new lot of trades and liquidity and maybe decide themselves to 'do something' and that, I believe is where inflection points end and the market drives off in one direction OR the other after the aggregations tip against a 'balance' point. Who knows lol, but we all must trade to a paradigm of our OWN to then be able to trade ourselves.


(if you ever wished a quick 5mins on MS-Teams seeing we have posted around each other for years now - and now that Skype has finished - maybe we can chat - its not something I do as I dont have the time really but in your situation if you wanted then why not.)
