The zones exist because retail traders always put thousands of entries and stop losses in those areas, because they think the price will bounce. Sometimes it does and they will make a bit of profit, but far more often they will get ripped straight through and lose a lot more.

Actually, where a lot of limit orders cluster is exactly where the exchange with liquidity providers takes place (if they’re willing and able). Traders, on the other hand, look at the Moving Average: the price moves away from the average and then returns to it, or the average shifts toward the price. As for risk, it’s simple—what percentage is your stop-loss?

I am watching on the H1 and noticing price bouncing between 3330 and 3345ish off of the 200 EMA. Waiting to see where price breaks--but predicting it will break below and continue a nice little dip. Anyone seeing the same?

Have you ever done a backtesting in Asia session? I only trade in the London session.

The premise is “Asia is always up” or Range I is always up – that’s what matters. If that’s truly the case, can anyone provide at least this month’s data, for May? If we can consistently capture one-third of the ADR in Asia each day – as the price did today by hitting one-third of ADR – then the possibility of a robust system opens up wide. I like this. (but, but yesterday is no up, down)
