I agree and so does the market, so not sure why it would propel gold up. To my way of thinking it would need to be a surprisingly/extreme dovish statement to surprise. Rates wont be lowered , but I think the risk of a surprise is more to a hawkish statement, which would be lower for gold and stocks.

The way i see it, is whatever FED will do, it will be bullish for GOLD (Safe Haven flows)
1. Rate unchanged- Speech "wat and see" - Recent Negative GDP- Will likely to worsen as higher for longer - Trump will continue to bully Powell.
2. Rate Cut - With all recent price data 'softer' - Weaker dollar - BUllish for Gold, Dovish surprise. However, the trend up, under this scenario might not hold, as demand for gold was because of its safe haven characteristic and not because of weaker dollar or A or B happened.
Under Scenario #1, with high possibility we might see 3600 for this weekly close. Or 3550+ Range.

Swing perspective, We are already deeply in premium area, we can only play scalp, as low risk and high reward swing trade, it already unfolds.
No more engagement as from today.

Exactly. When ever I see some one post such profit screenshot I know he is either new or recently started making profits. Serious traders never show their profits unless they make the trade explorer public and share profit and loss both.

I was initially thinking of closing the trade (now), but this fractal isn't a downward fractal like usual. The base shows an upward movement, not a downward one, unlike the fractal currently forming on GBP/USD, which is indeed a downward fractal—though sometimes it can break. Looks solid to me for BUYS. Just need a session to commit to manipulation. Hopefully it comes early and we don't have to wait until FOMC later on today. But we shall see
