I've been trading Gold successfully on the 5m and 1m timeframes. Recently due to issues with my broker's leverage and overall commissions and spreads I'm experiencing, I decided to apply the same logic/strategy and go for the 1hr and 15m timeframes. Has anyone been through this experience?

The only thing you can do is to scalp until a decent H4 candle comes around and showing any hint of an upturn.

the idea behind averages(aka 50%) is to show true trend and S/R like MA(blue) and Donchian Average(white) from early 1900's .

what you have in the image does not behave like MA, and definitely don't help in identifying direction.

IMO, if the price break the trendline, it will continue bullish... perhaps so...
