It went down, even though a ceasefire was declared for the holiday. Both sides took sneaky shots at each other, it was widely reported also all over the place

the market just fullfill a small gap... waiting 8.00 o clock for a move perhaps...

I think the market at this time will not respect technical analysis; the fundamentals indicate a constant rise in gold. Personally, I would not take any short positions.

Everything but the USD is going up. Gold is gonna make more ATH again this week, not likely to see a major retracement in the near term unless there is very positive tariff news.

This is too high to buy and too risky to sell. No thanks. I will leave it to the pros for now

USD news this weekend must have hurt a little. Gold came out pretty hot.

How could you have snuck in? Here's a video of how, in my opinion, you could have had a solid trade on open (which I don't normally recommend).

last week (17th april) prediction worked! however i don't have any gold trade or took any trade. just watching the chart and trying to predict.

there is no short. check today's price movement of EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDCHF. fundamentally USD is super weak and gold is strong. you never know if price pump to 3500~3600 or not in this week!

Can price reach to 3400 today?

Very weird PA, not the bull part but the fact that it didn’t close the gap up during market open hasn’t done this before - always closes it during the Asia session it’s either going to fall hard at a point or this is a new thing. Still holding my longs for 34xx but can’t help but feel this is weird PA even for gold.

This era is reminiscent of gold in 1978-1980, when gold rose almost vertically from $200 to $843. But then rapidly fell to $500, and eventually $300 by 1982, and spend the next two decades trading in that range. It's not until 2007 that gold broke over $800 again. Another steep rise occurred in 2009-2011, when gold soared from $800 to $1825, stayed there for a while, then dropped back to $1100-$1300 for around 7 years before reaching $1800 again during the COVID days in 2020. Now gold has risen from $1800-$1900 in late 2023 to almost $3400 now. History does not always repeat itself, but gold will not rise eternally. If you're holding it for long term, you've got to beware of these trends.
