Gold has been good to me. I’m watching 3300 to buy again. We shouldn’t stay below it. I think the trade is very crowded, though.

I agree, dirty price action can definitely confuse both buyers and sellers. It often creates false signals that lead to quick decisions based on emotional reactions rather than solid technical analysis. It’s important to stay patient, stick to your strategy, and look for confirmation across multiple timeframes or indicators. Otherwise, it’s easy to get caught up in the noise.
Anyone else have specific tactics they use to filter out this kind of price action and avoid getting tricked?

Stop being lazy and draw it yourself, extreme to extreme so you can easily spot corrections and breakouts, these things will end up cluttering your chart and confusing you for no reason

Been solidly bullish on gold for many weeks now, however I'm looking at a potentially drop this afternoon, over the bank hols and into Tuesday.
Looking for a strong close below the Baseline on the 1hr chart, with decent volume below. We are not there yet.

The circle is the fight zone for bear and bull. break the area will tell us who is going to win.

One thing I must say::: the crossing over is indicating that bear is getting more probability for a retracement.

without promising news, many things are to coming to mind like london session give bear some energy. NY will help the bear or kick out from the zone again and maybe journey towards xx50.

Dxy shows some strengh and my consideration is this is the reason we will see pullbacks in our precious metal.

According to me
Alright, fellow traders, Let's chat about Gold (XAUUSD) today.
Feeling a bit bullish on Gold as long as it holds above that key level around 3312. Think we could see it push towards 3360, maybe even stretch to 3383 if the momentum keeps up.
Of course, if things turn south and it drops below 3312, we might be looking at a move down towards 3278, and potentially even 3245.
The RSI just touched that neutral zone and looks like it's trying to climb back up, which hints at some buying interest.
Just remember to trade smart and keep those risk levels in check! This is just my take on things, not a crystal ball.

The baseline at the top is the Kijen sen with all other Ichimoku elements removed. the middle indicator is Lazy Bear's absolute strength oscillator. The volume at the bottom is the Braid filter. All available for free on Trading view.

Let's break it down :

All HTF Bullish, 4H TMF has made a LH, potentially for a nice bit Liquidity.

For this past week, she has been making her own liquidity during LDN & NY, to then take it and carry on it's push towards the upside. I'm not fond of trend lines, but it is respecting the current bearish in the 1H TMF, along with a little 1H IMB there in conjunction. We do have News which would most likely be the catalyst to take remaining liquidity to then make some good PA for us to then ride the wave it produces.

Apart from that, there's not much else to go off of, the HTF IMB's have a difference of $40+ and the News coming out, I highly doubt will make that much of an impact to force price to drop that much. So IMO I'm just going to enter off of a HTF BOS like the 1H after liquidity has been swept.

LDN session has taken liquidity of TKY / SYD session though, so do keep that in mind !

3210 ~ is very likely.

I was stopped out during Asian session.
Here is my Sell Lmt order at 3340; STP=3360.
Rationale: Gold made LL; so seeking an entry at LH targeting last week High. Will take partials at 3302 and 3275.

Okay I have entered a LONG position just purely on BOS in the smaller TMF's due to the BOS in the smaller TMF's and News coming out in NY session I have entered with a smaller position size. Will enter again if price breaks HTF structure.
Entry: 3330.57
SL: 3325.0
TP: ATH
