I cannot BELIEVE how Trump pulled these tariff calculations out of his magic hat of nonsense. My guy really sat down, took (Country A’s exports to the U.S.) ÷ (U.S. exports to Country A) × 100, and said, "Behold! The Official Tariff Rate!"
Sir… this isn’t math. This isn’t economics. This is witchcraft mixed with a toddler’s first attempt at long division.
At this point, the global economy isn’t just in danger—it’s about to get drop-kicked into a financial black hole while Trump stands over the smoldering wreckage yelling, "FAKE NEWS!"

Volume in the Asian session looks awfully low. Probably caused by the bank holiday in China. I'm exiting this trade without SL or TP contact at a 1.78% loss. I broke my rules so I don't want to continue anymore. I'll live for another day and another opportunity.

Reasoning behind Trade: #This test was again aimed to test out session movements in Gold and resulted as a failure. #I classified the daily as bearish even though the most recent low was not closed below using a candle’s body. #I then saw that price was bearish on the 4 hour and took it as an opportunity to go short when the bearish bias hasn’t been confirmed on the daily as yet. #What’s worse is that there was evidence as to this just being a retracement on the daily as you can see price wicked into a FVG and went up after. #It was stupid, emotional and greedy trading. #I exited with a 1.78% loss early without SL or TP contact close to my entry when I realized I traded emotionally and there was going to be a NFP new release the next day.

Trade Review: #The trade was a terrible decision and it could have been attributed to my previous 13.76% win on gold that made me feel overconfident. #Even when you don’t realize it, your emotions can quietly seep into your trading. #To avoid this we need to follow a strict rule based system.

Rules: Disrespected

Win Rate: 25%

Lessons Learned : #Keep emotions in check and make sure your rules are followed. #Always respect your bias , remember that you cannot force the market into your direction. We can only predict the probability of it going somewhere.

My first take profit was hit and the London low was tapped into as I expected somewhat. Honestly still don't care if the trade would have been a winner, as soon as I realized I broke my rules so stupidly I wanted to exit the trade whether it was at a loss or win. Post FOMO is stinging me a bit hard though. Could have easily added 1000+ to my MT5 account and bring my Winrate up to 50% off that trade and a 100% Winrate on gold. Kind of regretting exiting though, many more opportunities soon to come in the future, no worries.

Closing Statements: Maybe the Break of structure will eventually be confirmed on the daily at the end of today and it could be the beginning of a daily-weekly gold retracement or you could treat it as a daily liquidity sweep and look for price to actually be rocketing after the sweep. One thing for sure, it's either going to be going up or down. At the end of the day, it's night.
