I would agree most of the time, but from time to time you will see a wild variance.
Also using a MT5 futures account it is easier to keep track as it works as a net type account like all futures accounts. This keeps things the same between both accounts. I.E FIFO, etc.
I would much rather be trading FOREX Prop Firms but none offer any deals to US traders that come close to the Futures Props.

I trade for prop firm. Not much bothered about commission.

It is not my money. And projectx platform, one can set TP or Stop with value in it.

how do you calculate price limit ?

Just reached the profit target on 3 x BG evals, but I forgot there is the 40% consistency rule in the challenge phase as well so now I have to keep trading even though technically I've passed, dammit.

When does the 7% start? The end of the previous trading day and start of the post market trading? 4pm EST?

exactly also remember their dll is not end of day…. I think its like per closed position beware

Yesterday was some bs day for me lost 3x50k bulenox accounts……
actual loss was 1100 only but trailing killed me missed my tp twice on nq and reversed to hit sl i.e 500 per trade….

I dont know about you guys maybe i am super unlucky or market makers are really pissed on me…. Last several trades on nq it literally reversed by missing my tp by 1 or less points and hit my stop loss in instant i.e 20 points sl n tp….

i need to train again myself for trailing drawdown.. kept on holding positions like end of day

I stopped purchasing daily drawdown plans and plans with DLL.

I prefer one loss, that is MLL, so that i can plan.

My plan is with MLL 2000, aim profit of 300 + in funded acc.

800 to 3000 in eval acc.

It works.

Infact, I passed one 50k account with bulenox but did not pay activation fee 148 ( for last 2 weeks ) fearing daily drawdown plan, breach.

This calculation has the best chance of passing and getting a payout.....

Higher chance of getting a payout as threshold is smaller is as well.....My goal is to make withdraw 200-300 above the threshold and atleast become breakeven with this firm...... THis and tradeify are the only total loser firms without any payout.....

Yep it need a different mindset i just kept holding the winners like EOD>... otherwise i would have no issues with trailing all thanks to APEX...

for me, trading/passing 50k acc is cakewalk.

I found a way to pass atlast.

I can pass everyday one eval 50k.

But... bigger eval.. 150k.. needs practice.

The rule is always present. I guess you could say that it "starts" at pre-market, because that's the start of a new trading day.

For gold it's 10% above or below the previous day's settlement price.

If you're on Tradingview, go to the daily and make sure you have settlement price turned on.
And then use the price range tool to drag it to precisely +-10%.

Don't confuse the official rule with your prop firm's rule, though. And things are calming down already, so don't worry about it too much.

yes NQ moves very badly!
I also got losses.
will hardly recover today.
also i am in a pending payout so i better stay away for a while
