As a retailer knowing where the turning points of the swings are is the key. and if you have to trade in that direction in any case. The trend can produce huge spikes and if it catches you on the wrong foot you are lost. Of course, everything has its difficulties and among them is knowing the turns.

keeping it below 2955 would be the perfect psychological trap. Sellers would gain confidence seeing resistance hold, thinking its a safe sell. Meanwhile, liquidity would be building up for a massive move during the news. Classic setup for maximum impact.
