Good morning to everyone who’s messaged me personally and commented here to learn.

I’m sorry, I’m not yet qualified to teach, but I can share a little about my strategy and the decisions I make for the day. I think this thread is enough for now.

I’ll try to share live charts, but as I’ve mentioned before, I trade on 3 different accounts: one for compounding, one for expenses, and one for managing other people's capital. But I’ll do my best to share the charts.

I’m a risk-taking trader sometimes and let my emotions take over too. It’s normal. My personal opinion is that no matter how good your technique is, if you can’t manage your emotions, you’ll fail.

No fancy designs, tp max for bullish 2823 around that...
If manipulation is not hapening at the open will be fine.
If it is to bearish 2883...
I am in a buy since 2906 and breakeven...
There are many things in the market one of them iss expectations that some people forget to draw in their narratives....
To confirm continuation this 4h candle Ny time should close above 2909.308

Testing

From my chart, you can see the horizontal line representing the previous US end high or the previous day's high. I usually look to see if the price level breaks or gets rejected. Then, I make my decision.

My decisions don’t depend on waiting for a pin bar or bearish engulfing, etc. Instead, the decisions I make come from my experience trading for over two years, where I’ve learned to identify the best entry point or setup for the moment.

For example, like the rejection earlier, I entered a sell and have already made 50 pips in profit.

Every key level or price level I mark is crucial because that's where I decide whether to enter a short or long position.

It's simple.

4H invalidate bullish setup for now, bearish setup triger, the tps already known.
Partials and breakeven are a tool...
Caution because we are at the opening range, without break below there is no real bearish validation too.

I’m curious to learn more about your approach, I’m refining my own system and trying to learn from other traders.

  1. What lot size do you usually trade with?
  2. What risk/reward ratio (RR) do you typically aim for?
  3. Do you adjust your position size based on your confidence in a setup, or do you always risk a fixed percentage of your capital?

I’d really appreciate your insights! Also, if other traders want to share their answers, that would be great.

I advice wait for a 4h break of prices i share, there is a lot of indecision right now.
Lower Tf's have always risk to trade daily agendas.

don’t focus on risk reward,
market doesn’t care about your RR.
you should trade to BE. and let the trade be risk free.
or accept the SL etc but they key is position managing, enter a trade where you can move SL to BE.
this is why you only enter trades with volume because if you enter and it’s right, price will allow you to be in profit and manage position to BE and let it run for profits/take partials and allow for more runners for maximum risk free profits. but also depends if you scalp or not. i scalp. but if you trade on the 4hr daily weekly monthly i guess you don’t need to worry about volatility as you have a lower leverage for that and can have wider stops.
Trade what’s happening, not what you think is going to happen.

Hi.

I use lot sizes based on my equity balance at the time. For example, 0.01 for $100, 0.10 for $1K, 1.00 for $10K, and so on. It also depends on leverage and my confidence in the setup.

For my risk/reward ratio, I usually aim for 1:2. For example, a 50-pip stop loss with a 100-pip take profit.

I trade differently for my compounding account. I target 30% profit a day, taking one entry at a time with very short profit targets of 30 pips, and I need to be very confident in my entry.

For my other account, I enter as long as I see good chances or the best setup for the day. On my "crazy days," I can earn anywhere from 100% to 500%. It's aggressive, but so far, I’m okay with it.

However, this strategy is very risky and shouldn’t be followed by others

From my analysis, Ill be looking for longs off the 1 hr CISD and take a 1:3 RR from the market. Since its Asian session, this might be the only "confident" recession before the consolidation of LN

Thanks for your detailed response, it’s really interesting to get your perspective!
If I understood your approach correctly:

  1. You don’t focus on a strict RR but rather on good position management to maximize gains and limit losses.
  2. The main goal is to reach Break-Even (BE) quickly, by entering at levels where the market is likely to react.
  3. Once in BE, you let the position run stress-free, allowing for risk-free profits.
  4. On higher timeframes (H4/Daily/Weekly), RR becomes less important because the trend itself drives profitability over time.

I have a few questions to better understand how you manage your positions after reaching BE:

  1. Once your trade is at BE, how do you manage the rest of the trade? Do you gradually move your Stop Loss to secure gains, or do you leave it at BE until you decide to close the position?
  2. And finally, how do you determine when to close a position? Do you have specific criteria, or is it more a matter of intuition and experience?

Thank you for your response! 30% per day is huge! That’s a very ambitious target, which requires excellent risk management and strong confidence in your setups. If I understand correctly, you segment your risk by taking a more disciplined approach on one account and a more aggressive one on another. Is that right?

  2. Why exactly 30 pips? Is it based on a market observation, a monthly profit target, or a strategy you have tested and validated?

  1. When you identify a good setup, do you take a single position or open multiple positions as the trade progresses?
    And on your "crazy days," do you change anything in your trading approach?

  1. Do you gradually increase your positions (in size and number) if the trade is going well?
  2. Or do you start with a large position right away?
  3. Or is it simply the market that allows you to have these exceptional performances without changing your strategy?

I’m not sure if my questions are entirely relevant at your level, but in any case, I’m learning a lot from these exchanges!

Yes, that's correct!

For my compounding account, I follow a strict plan. I enter according to the schedule and trade plan I set up before the month starts, including the number of layers and lot sizes. It’s all strictly followed.

For my compounding account, I don’t actually set a stop loss because I’m monitoring and entering positions only at the safest price levels. I only enter one layer at a time and immediately set a 305-point take profit for gold (30 pips). Once I’ve completed one layer, I’ll enter the next one until I reach the 30% profit target for the day. It’s risky, but it’s worked for me so far and is worth the effort.

For my other account, I generally enter several layers and adjust the lot sizes according to my current equity. I tend to use the same lot size based on my equity at the time, and if my equity increases, I’ll adjust to a larger lot size accordingly.

I focus on just one strategy and don’t use other techniques. For example, if I target a $10K profit for the day, I’ll collect profits in increments of $1K, repeating the process until I reach my goal.
