Hello Esteemed Coders,

I am reaching out to request help in building an Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 5 (MT5). The EA will use two custom indicators: "i-Regression Channel" and "Supertrend Line."

Buy Orders: A buy order will be triggered when the Supertrend Line changes direction from Down to Up and is below the middle line of the i-Regression Channel. The buy order will be placed at the market price. The stop loss will be set at the current value of the middle line of the i-Regression Channel, and it will be updated at the opening of each new candle.

Sell Orders: A sell order will be triggered when the Supertrend Line changes direction from Up to Down and is above the middle line of the i-Regression Channel. The sell order will be placed at the market price. The stop loss will be set at the current value of the middle line of the i-Regression Channel, and it will be updated at the opening of each new candle.

Could any coder kindly help to modify the attached supply-demand indicator to draw lines (instead of a box) with values at both the high and low of the supply/demand area so that it can be more visible?

First, there is no entry logic.
You just have placeholders, but no logic.

And these two functions don't do anything, so there can never be any entry.
And, not to mention, that sl and tp need to be NormalizeDouble(sl,_Digits); and NormalizeDouble(tp,_Digits);

Please help hopefully it's simple.
I need this stochastic histogram to look like in the picture (from colored macd btw) when the value is up or down above or below 50.
I found out there but it's for mt5

The attached indicator does not display any of its buffers,
including Resistance lines, Support lines, and Arrows,
during both Backtesting and real-time use.
(However, these elements do appear on historical charts)

Could you please fix this issue so that everything is properly
displayed during Backtesting and in real-time.
ChatGPT-o1 was unable to resolve the problem,
so I am relying on your expertise.

I sincerely hope you can resolve this
issue without modifying the existing logic or settings.

For greater clarity, I have asked ChatGPT to
include English explanations within the code.

good evening, guys

I need your help to create indicator which call several scripts by assigns hotkeys.

Example - I saved scripts in folder "/XXX" and with name script1.mq5, script2.mq5 and script3.mq5
and from indicator i assign this scripts with keys - 4 , u, and ctrl+t (also can be combination with ctrl, alt and shift).

Hi Coders!
I have this indicator where I need to have Alerts added at certain points on the chart.
I enclosed for your perusal a screenprint marked with where I need alerts to pop up/notify me (MTF) of this happening.
You will note that the price touch base with Magenta first marked A, then moves on to the Coral dash line marked B, then moves on to the solid light green line marked C, then moves on to the solid (shorter) dark green line Unmarked.Please mark the alerts accordingly.
Kindly assist me with this...I would be grateful for your expert coding knowledge applied here.

If you provide the .mq4 file, but you don't provide the icon image, and you define the #property icon, then if I don't have the icon, the indicator won't find it, and won't work.

a. I still see Japanese? characters which I can't read...
b. The variables HIGH_PRICE and LOW_PRICE are defined as = 0, and 0 = PRICE_CLOSE, so both of those variables are PRICE_CLOSE, no matter what you call them! You can call them SUCCER_THINKS_HE_WILL_WIN, and if you code:

ENUM_APPLIED_PRICE      SUCCER_THINKS_HE_WILL_WIN = 0;
0 in this case means PRICE_CLOSE.
So, further in your code, when you are doing iMA(), in all cases you are using PRICE_CLOSE.
c. If you are using ENUM, you should be using ENUM, not numbers:

The file I attached contained comments in Japanese. I sincerely apologize for the oversight.

Do you think that I can read what's on your mind???

The only errors in your code are:
ORDER_BUY and ORDER_SELL
There are no such enums in MQL4.
OP_BUY and OP_SELL are the enums in MQL4.

Otherwise, like I said, you need to normalize the sl and tp doubles to _Digits in order for OrderSend() to work.

And, you can use :

About your entry functions - I have no idea what you want - you need to define your entry condtions.

NOTE:
The attached code is not a working EA.
It is a template for a potential EA.
The GetLowerEntryTarget() and GetUpperEntryTarget() functions are just blank, dummy functions which always return 0.

I don't see any use for that...
Most of all, we can only run 1 script at a time on any given chart.
We can't run more than 1 script at a time.
We may be able to help you if we knew what the specific idea behind this is.

This indicator is just a Moving Average indicator with many types of calculations.
You can use any Universal EA which allows Buy/Sell buffer inputs.
However, if you want to make use of all it's options, creating such an EA isn't a five-minute job.
Using some universal buffer (indicator) EA will require you to modify the default parameters in the indicator code and compile it with the settings which you want for the EA buffers.

I am a little confused to say the very least about your reply?
The indicator I attached came from you in ex4-format which is your normal way of coding. Are you perhaps saying that I changed the coding of the indicator? And if so, how could I have opened an ex4 file and for what purpose?
The reason I wanted to bring this to your attention is because the EA that you supplied, does not trade and with your comment and my observation, quite rightly so. That EA could not use the indicator correctly as it is "seriously wrong"
You state and I quote: "
