Is this a possible scenario ?

there is a possibility because of the on going geopolitical issues people are attracted to safe assets.

In this case if the current move gets momentum and not just a small correction we might have a wave 3?

Do you use Ctrader? (I think I've seen an image posted from you that's ctrader)

Get Luc FVG Gap Inbalance from Ctrader site indicator section & get Ehlers MESA adaptive moving average. (MESA is quite similar to PSAR it works with acceleration) its adaptive and very good at show trend and went to exit

Only go long if MESA is blue & there are bull 4hrs FVG's on chart
Only go short if Mesa red & bear 4hrs FVG's on the chart

It have Demand around 2647.455 on H4 that aligns with one of my pattern TP, it is possible go there, is the origin of the bullish momentum this week

EDIT: And the EQ of the daily consolidation that aligns with a Monthly close at 2634

If I followed half of my mark ups... broke through the first zone, retested then continued down to the next... I set my tp for 50 and my sl to 25 and left.. got 50, but if I had been here monitoring, anyway, Gold is tough to trade for sure, but I feel that since I can find it pretty easily, that I should trade it lol sometimes it hasn't been the best decision haha

Gold is corrrecting. The trend is still up. Not sure if we will see a new ATH at this point. Time will tell.
