You said it true, but so too Neo's. Smart they are, but even the smartest can make the dumbest mistake when they became ignorance. NFP cooked, sure, and so FED rate expectation. Dec going to be a cut anyway since it's policy. The main focus is whether they're going to cut (and how many) next year. This has been undergoing ever since Trump won, Trump want a low rate, but FED worry his tariff would brings short-term inflation, so why continue cutting

Edited: I believe the motivation for price from last week until now is one kind of bearish behavior of wanting to sell high. Bulls have had many chances, one of them just to get to 2790 to exit and call it one super good profit year, but they didn't. But if they already left, wasn't that describe there was no reason to continue buy gold

Job figures tomorrow should be more or less as forecast so I would not expect any huge candle. Probably gonna be a two-way candle so I would avoid trading the news itself. We may see a buying frenzy in the US session due to the current fundamentals.

I wouldn't confuse unrealised losses with capitalisation issues. Anyone who's holding treasuries (or other bonds) from prepandemic is carrying unrealised losses, but its more of an accounting number than meaningful number for the purpose actual bank operations.

As long as yields continue to fall that number will shrink and vanish....or they can redeem them and that number will go away as well.

A bit of a puzzle for order flow and VP analysis on the current range.
First, as price was dropping, buyers did react and defended the volume at 2,545. They also accumulated on the pullback to the 2,630 area.
According to VP analysis, it's a good idea to go long from those areas, because buyers will most likely defend their positions. However, looking at the heatmap, I can assume the intention is to keep price in a range, since both passive sides are getting filled. Regardless, I see strong demand on the current support level and more buyers within the range - also confirmed by the CVD. This indicates buyers accumulation.
Although the current state is a bit uncertain, I still see more likelihood for bullish moves and looking for potential sellers at 2,750.
