For Forex the big ones seem fine, but the client acquisition is harder for newer companies now. Now much social media buzz as crypto is booming.

I think MFFx is using CFD as side business main focus is on futures. Their max allocation is 200K for 2 step challenge.

Are any of these prop firms "Standard" account or, are they all "Commission" type accounts? I'm looking for a standard account, no commission, yes, with wider spread. Thanks guys.

i think its 2week payout cycle for those accounts..... But a little bigger targets with less drawdown during evals......

Think like what you'll be aiming for 2 payout cycle for expert or milestone plan on 50k on my personal self was max 2k(100% gain on 2k drawdown) payout per cycle so like 4k in a month ... where as if we go starter cheaper price and smaller target +bigger drawdown can easily capture 3 payouts within a 4 week which will be 3600$ as well so kinda same....I used this logic to go with starter plan as its easier to pass and get a payout out of it.....

what is the acceptable slippage in major forex pairs ?

depends on the pair. EURUSD depth is much more than say gbp jpy. If normal hours and no news then .1 .2 is normal for 5 lot+ positions. For news can be up to 150 pips if thee announcement gaps institutionally

I dont think the 1 step challenge you are hoping is sustainable from all sides. If we get sustainability from props and good access at reasonable prices i think that finally the props will be a long term project that can be used with 10 years in mind and some trust will come back. The wild west period was very negative to the community as it was basically pump.fun but for businesses.

There are some in that list who are not really broker. Quant tekel, MV, Finotive these are prop companies.

I think the broker backed notion should be only firms who were brokers first and have the broker infrastructure as stability mechanism

Any broker backed prop firms open to USA residents as of yet?
I have fully transitioned to futures, but just curious if forex will ever be a thing in the US again without using the shithole brokers offered here.

Thinkcapital is the only real one i think.

Because of vendor relationships i would not hold my breath for them.

Staying with futures is better as for as prop firm model is concerned.

FX trading is good, if you invest your own money, trade normally.
Intraday only.

I have a funded with them, no payout yet will see, my trading on fundeds dont seem to get flagged as its not aggressive.

I dont like the company from past things but the prop experience so far seems ok. what i dont like is that they now selling all their tech and such using prop account llc something very strange
