My Goal to $1000 Trading Gold On A Small Account

I have been breaking my plan and losing. But my set ups work 80 percent of my predictions. I decided to create this thread to monitor my trading journey. Every week I will post my trade set ups and my daily entry signals to hold myself accountable. Let's see how it goes!

I'm Bearish on Gold. This is my set up for 26th-29th November. So far I have winning and losing the profits back. Today will be the start of me following my trading plan.

My trade for 26th will be scalding Gold to the downside. I will be selling breakouts on 1 min, 5 mins, 15mins and 30 mins.

I'm beating myself up Failed my trading plan again. Entered buy on my demo acc. Trade was 200pips up going well. Stupidly entered buy on my live account towards the end of the Bull trend. Ended up losing 80 percent of my account.

Okay, so this sounds like FOMO of real live profits.

But my set ups work 80 percent of my predictions.

Why don't you trade your live account instead of the demo account leave the demo account out of it? as you said you was up 200 pips on the trade? Your brain is basically overriding you by saying oh lets trade on live no get some Dosh and then exit..

Do a restart on the live account or move to a funded account.

Gold has been in a long correction. I have been staying away from Gold but today I see an ABC correction. Enter Buy on 5 mins.

Gold is in a daily correction B Wave. This weeks trade will be bearish. On 1 hour we could be forming an ending diagonal. It can be tricky to find an entry so I narrowed the expected area of interest.

I am trading on both personal live account and FTMO live account

I didn't re=enter the second trade. It looks like a complex pattern. I noticed the gap @2586.89. Price might retest lower for a better buy entry.

No trades for me today and it's Friday. Market can be unpredictable on Fridays. 1 hour still looks more downside. Waiting for price to retest @2586 to go long. If we break out of the weekly pattern it will be sells.

We are heading to close the gap @2586.89 for completion of ABC. I'm in on the sell.

Happy New Year, Guys! Hope you all had a good holiday. This year I have set a higher target for my account.

I will be sharing all my entries and stay transparent as much as I can. We are going for the Bull trend as I predicted in my pervious.

I expected price to hit retest lower @2586 area before taking off but price didn't go down to my predicted area. It reversed @2596 and took off upwards.

So I will be entering Buys on any 15mins or 30mins correction. I already took my first trade this morning closing in150 pips. Trade with caution since market is still moving with low volume.

Sorry guys I haven't been posting my updates on Gold. I'm in the buy. My analysis on Daily still remains the same as I posted on 18th Dec. We are completing B Correction, which is almost ending. Trade Buy with caution.


Updated: We had a little pull back but I was still in the trade. Running straight to target. I'm holding my position all the way to 2:1 RR. I will close my position at target before the next resistance level.

I have been sitting out Gold waiting for a clearer pattern to form on I hour. Gold is at all time high and it's risky entering a trade without a specific target in mind. The previous pattern I spotted on the daily turned out to be a contracting flat on the Weekly. I will be entering short term buys on 5 mins and 15 mins pullbacks. And aim for 2:1 R:R. BE WARNED! Any trade setup on gold is high risk.
