If the market consensus is 25bps cut, so i guess that is priced in the golds price. It would move higher only if there is higher bps cut or Jpow gives a clear indication of higher cut for december. Still keeping my limit orders but will be managing closely

Gold will have some resistance between at
2706.700 and 2709.700.
Bet that reach the second today whatever the market do after the announcement of interest rates. Just because is a sensitive price in a dealing range not closed...

As a general rule, the price reverses once the news is in. Meaning that if the previous few hours the price goes up, after the news it goes down (and the opposite).

I am NOT sure that the price will go down, but this is my bet.

I FEEL that a big factor of the past 3 months and the 20% increase in gold price was the fear that Kamala will win and USA will go down the drain. With Trump winning gold has to fall and the fall should be at least 15% because now the outlook is way brighter for USA.

Me personally, I am a seller because I believe that price should hit and will hit 2450 or so.

Imo the yield curve are normal and sloping upward so there may be the higher FFD then forecast and gold may fall to 2680 and if it break 2680 then maybe fall back to 2630...

For the new traders it means that the price went to a decision point and basically now no one knows if it will go up or down!
