Gold in the past few weeks hasn’t been trading on technicals or fundamentals and has been largely unaffected by news.

The reasons are possibly due to the conflicts in the Middle East, uncertainty regarding the upcoming election etc. I believe these factors currently outweigh any fundamentals/technicals.

2765 is a valid technical level for rejected next comes 2773 followed 2784. so if it has to be rejected it has to happen now. otherwise it will again fly. it is in that territory that even dollar dumping wont have an effect on it

Haha I was wondering if anyone actually remembered but yes you’re right.

I was initially satisfied with the first 350 but couldn’t pass up the opportunities on gold

And I’m also not happy/proud of it because I’m breaking my own rules regarding overtrading (which was why I lost nearly 9k two weeks ago). I’m hoping to return back to my disciplined self again tomorrow fingers crossed. But like you said, it’s extremely tough to fight the urge at times.
