Rules are great except I dont like 30% profit rule. It is still ambiguous they say one can't loose more than 30% per trade and since it is not daily DD I can still open same trade with another 30% SL and one more and wipe out account. Is that ok?
DCA is allowed but since it is future not FOREX. How they will calculate risk 5 profit 1 or 5:1 risk reward.
For example If I open one buy trade of MNQ at 20500 with SL of 50 pips and 10 pips target which is good but if I am in loss of 40 pips and I DCA and add one position with 10 pips target 50 pip stop and my second position TP hits since it is futures my first order SL is hit and my second order TP is still pending and I can go on for 500 pips drawdown and keep only 1 position open will they allow that?

hey cap...... keep in mind, by no means am i a apex expert.....

however, most of the changes in no way will effect me...... there are 2 exceptions.....

the increased buffer amount now makes my 150k accounts less valuable to me...... admittedly only a minor inconvenience..... perhaps should have stuck with 25k's and 50k's......

the positive effect open dca will more than balance out any negative......

my contract size is always a single 1..... losses and profits are small..... so, i'm on the winning end of the changes......

just got back from a solid month of 19 hour days storm work in st pete area.....

anything apex can dream up will be a cake walk compared to that......h
to trade and code, keep both simple... no call to impress....h

Why you cannot trust Vantage prop firm ? Because they entire Vantage broker is only breakeven for years. They can hardly survive, see here

You should have swung by, I'm just north of there, maybe 6-7 miles north of Clearwater. Yes, St. Pete got hammered TWICE. The difference of being a couple miles inland as I am is HUGE.

Well I look it in another way, bigger accounts are more beneficial now. For example with 150K account, Just withdraw 500$ instead of 2750 for 3 payouts make 50$ daily once reach threshold and after 6 payouts remove every thing instead of waiting for 4 months.

hey sampat...... thanks for that info.....

just looked fully into the '2750' amount you mentioned...... all this time i was thinking i needed to make the full original profit goals on the 150k and 300k accounts , 9000 and 20,000, again before requesting a payout...... and it's only 5100 and 7600......

now i really feel dumb......h

hey pip...... thought about it but your kinda a prisoner on storm jobs like that......

clearwater got sandblasted good...... we were at the st pete downtown hilton and tropicana base camp...... strange, none of the boats in the marina were damaged......

my trading has suffered heavily the past 3 weeks....... but nothing compared to the damage done by both those storms......h

E8 has 1 step with daily 2% cap just like Myfundedfx , any others I have missed ?

Not that i am aware, i have both accounts. Both hit cap today but could have hit 2x cap if there was no cap and my fingers are itchy.

My take on APEX.......

Opinion -

1. Need to build threshold - then payout afterward profits (I have personally no issue with that but it'll hurt apex alot as its their main USP otherwise why would anyone pay for intra trailing drawdown firm as there are so many offering End of day which are cheaper as well)
2. They are becoming similar to Elitetraderfrunding/bulenox kinda firms too many rules to work with to get a payout..... whereas the industry is moving in the other direction making things simpler.

THey should have taken pointers from topstep/mffu.....

Thats the price for having 20 accounts , MyFF and Top step has 5 and 3 instead of 20.

Elitetraderfudning also giving 20 accounts in their new promotion... the thing is 20 accounts not gonna keep them apart from rest of competition... In my eyes now they are not leaders anymore just any regular firm..... Their hype gonna die soon if they keep on this path....
