I think gold will find a stabilize price zone around 2615~16. but now price may have some manipulation give few more hour we may see below 2600 and may be end of the wekk 2620~30.

For almost couple of years, I’ve been on this cycle - making profits and then losing it all. But I never gave up. Every time I lost 30-40%, I’d take a few weeks off, then start again with small amount $500 coz i am/was not a profitable trader. It’s been a grind.

But this time feels different. last week i took a big lose but I have recovered my losses from last week, and I think I’m finally becoming a profitable trader. In the end, i think it all comes down to experience and mastering your emotions. more you trade more you will gain experience.

No more gold trades for me until the price stabilizes tomorrow. Once you make a good profit, it's important to hold onto it. Big thanks to everyone here for sharing your valuable opinions and feedback - I’m learning a lot from all of you!

I'm on short from 2646.69, I dont know where to TP because I'm new trader.. Can anyone help me with what TP method should I use..

Problem with gold is u think it’s finally going that way then out of nowhere full reversal and u think wtf

Just need to avoid revenge trading, (which it sounds like you are avoiding). It’s hard to not let your emotions overcome you in some cases but you need to keep a cool head.

My issue is keeping too cool a head and taking large risks that were not necessary. A friend of mine lost £110,000 in one day on gold, this was a lesson for me to learn from his mistakes and manage my risk better before the same happened to me.

I have small sl's too so i'm not perfect like the other people from this thread
But pedro changed my view about risk management and THAT WAS a really important lesson for me

No, it wasn’t a revenge trade. It felt like I was just repeating the same mistake over and over again. JPY pairs always messed up my trading, but for some reason, I kept going back to them. Now I’ve deleted the JPY chart for good, haha.

Once I lost around 20%, and it completely shook my confidence. Even though I’d made a big profit the month before, losing that 20% in a single day hit me hard. Because it was not a good lose, i mean just a dumb lost which has no plan, it was like I kept making the same mistake, and I was too scared to take another trade. But I think mistakes are part of the process.

Anyway, I started trading small after that. I even reduced my usual lot size to match my asset size. After recovering 5-6% of the losses, I got my confidence back and started trading normally again. A short trade on gold in the 2670-71 price range helped me to recover most of my losses. I also posting here time to time when i taking any trade. like all worked well but again it was a ranging market nothing special call, i guess. today i also said in the morning 2648~50 i will take short, coz i think gold started losing it's up momentum.
