Apex, MFFU, Topstep, Tradeify, Tradeday are the only ones to use Tradovate to my knowledge.
Intraday only.

Best prop firm to "me" for futures is TopStep. Very solid platform (TopstepX). EOD Drawdown. Good Support. Been around for a long time. I have 3 - 150K evals with them, buying 2 more next week for a total of 5.
Drawdown is more important than Account Size !

Is prop trading all a scam?

We are trying to find the angle for a CFD prop arm for Afterprime but the whole prop model just all looks like b-book 2.0

most are giving a demo account as a “live funded” account. I know as I’m in the industry and speak to everyone including the tech providers. So many people scammed and told they can’t trade cause they make too much money.

1. Which trading platform is everyone looking for?
2. Which CFD prop firm is the best for simple rules and ability to make money?
3. Which prop firm do you really honestly believe is giving real funds to trade on?
4. what would be your dream setup for a prop firm environment?

prove me it’s not a scam and help us design what you are looking for and I’ll make it happen.

my main ideas would be 100% profits kept by the trader, actual funded real money account, low fees to take a challenge. Simple rules. Max open exposure keeps a-book safe from risk of blowing past agreed drawdown levels. Anything else ?

1. Meta. Ctrader as second option if Meta is impossible to offer. All the rest Match trader, Traderlock, etc. is crap.
2. The problem is not having the simpler rules. It's not having hidden rules. Some props have very simple rules but then use things like gambling, toxic flow and other arbitrary concept to deny payouts or funded accounts.
3. None
4. The only dream is to be able to trade without being uncertain if we will receive payout, if we will be banned for being profitable, if we're not being risk restricted for arbitrary reasons, etc.

You can design everything you can but at the end of the day what matters is if you pay and don't make excuses. That's why FTMO, 5ers or E8 are the most reputable and others are shady.

I don't want to sound negative but dozens before you came with the same good intentions, wanted to be honest, etc. and failed because risk managing is all what matter in this industry and props get attached by all sort of people and need to deny payouts to stay solvent.

Last three guys that came with this speech like yours was Franklin from Real Funds Trader, Tristan from Engineer and Khaled from Pips. Two are dead and one has already changed rules a hundred times, as well as a lot of shady practices.

If you want a serious approach then bring Takisd to the discussion as he is the man to speak with.

Prop firms are just betting companies. Like the real betting companies they bet that you can’t win.


Real big betting companies will block you too when you win. The same principle holds for the prop betting companies.

same principle with b-book brokers which I’ve never been a fan of. We are out to prove that it’s possible to do win/win business.

Why don't you try it again but be more sincere about your intentions and realistic about your goals.

1] You are here to make money
2] How do you do it and capture some market share?
3] What set up would people accept that also lessen the risk of your company not turning out like others?
4] Which prop firm should we let take the lead and copy them to be most effective? (FTMO is the answer to this question but drop the a-book crap).

People don't give a crap about the A-book b-book discussion, its 2012 brokerage industry hogwash that worked for GP but no longer works, people just want smooth trading and to be paid. Market making allows for more smooth trading experiences a retail trader can understand. If you can generate revenue outside of fees you win the olympics as your payouts are sustainable even if its 5% of payouts earned from other sources than fees.

We know your history and we know how you like to push yourself as the deity of transparency, but you already have started on the wrong foot - if you want our help be sincere and don't try to market yourself. A successful prop is always welcome here but we have all been here long enough to be respected and spared the marketing.

Beware the evil dashboard provider who over promises.

Not possible. Maybe data could be used to do something with it. But to do that one needs money. Prop betting company starters have also no money.

FXIFY/FxPig seems to be doing well. They have limited rules and good customer service, received 150K client accounts within a year. Payouts are about 2.5M per month.

3. Cheltonwealth used to work with Luxtradingfirm until 2021 for recruiting talent , now they work with proppers.io

Many recent cases mostly about paying and banning (with gambling argument) or "technical" problems to buy new challenges because trader is banned without knowing about it. I think Vitore here also had troubles with them of this sort.
I got a lot of payouts from them and still have an account there, scaled but in a DD, though being paid alone doesn't mean much for me in terms of reliability.

Most props get those kind of complaints. So far I have also received prompt payouts from them. Their numbers look actually quite good. With 150K accounts their sales should have been around 20M and with 2.5M going out every month it looks like being sustainable. Time will tell.
