This is very true. I had shorts at 2595 and shorts at 2606. When it went down. I was looking at pa seeing if it could close at 2586? But it went back up. I cut my losses at 2613. Then i waited night and go long from 2603 but i close my play at 70 pips. And call it a day. 3% profit when it could have been 8-10%. So i advise that you should skip trading next week. Or just scalp 30-50 pips . Technically i only enter 4 trades a week but yesterday. I did not follow my play and had 3 entries just for friday. Before that i had already a total of 4 trades from monday to thursday. Rule of thumb. Follow your play, never go against it. Because you already strategize ur playbook

Sorry to hear that. 50bps scenario (that I explained) was always going to be a rally first due to 50bps not being fully priced in. The drop that came after was expected, but quite large in my opinion. They really made sure to eliminate Buyers before they let the price continue going up.

The thing is as you have said already that you need to follow your analysis and plan. If you don't have your own system that you can rely on, then it is almost impossible to make it.

If you're still alive, this will be a good lesson for the future. Mistake that cost very much, but you still have the chance!

I tried to install the indicator in the metatrader5, unfortunately it did not work, I am going to figure out how to solve it.
It would be great if you could share the Gann signals and the charts.

All TF are currently Bullish (my charts). I don't think we even have a M5 suggesting Short. As said, M5 gave a sell signal, however M15 wasn't "buying it" and what happened was that we got a slight sell, but price went on to make a new high.

Buying pullbacks is still the main game and will continue to be so until we get a signal on higher TF's that a potentially stronger sell is coming.

As it stands now, we will continue to head towards 3000$ in my opinion. If some big sell is coming, then we will probably see it coming.

Thank you for your insights Zebi. So far no going down, so Pedro hasn't been that accurate, I realize. I haven't seen T721 (the duck?) in a while, but he's great/helpful. Good to see you again, Parveen and LuckyTuj! Legends.

Being a contrarian can hurt, but don't get met wrong, I also want XAUUSD to crater, I just don't know when that will happen (October last chance?), but I can't let my personal bias cloud my judgement of direction. I will always try to buy the dips, even after we hit my last Sell position at 2260.

I hope the next week will be good for everyone.

Yeah... October could be spicy! If not, we're probably heading into 2025. with Gold still at all time high or near it in my opinion.

Problem is that people who do not have Long positions are desperately hoping for the sell that might come or might not. I understand it is really hard to trade Gold right now...

It's not easy to enter Long due to the price already being this high and timing the Short is the nightmare.

Silver reacted to the Resistance at 31.5$ and other Resistance is at 32$ - 32.5$. Silver would probably reach this Resistance if the Gold climbs to 2650$, so this will be interesting when it does and if it does.

If Gold can print 2700$, then the Silver is probably heading towards 34$ - 35$ and the Gold isn't going to retrace that much at all this year. We're waiting for 2025. then in my opinion and the Gold should get close to 3000$.

Could be, but best decision always come from the chart itself. We just use probability and price structure to make some bucks.

Wave analysis act as a blueprint while price structure confirms the blueprint.
Fundamental (sentiment) always move in favour of price structure or it can be said price structure reflects sentiment.
When economic news or a news shock the market, it tends to move opposite price structure (shift in sentiment) producing a shift in price structure
The question left to ask, how shocking is the news.

Actually, M5 Chart is again suggesting another Short is probably ahead. M15 is somewhat close to support this view. We're not far from M15 suggesting Short which would mean we are going below 2605$ once again, at least. M30 on the other hand is far from suggesting that any greater Short than that is coming. We could definitely see 2595$ in my opinion, but anything more than that is questionable.

i dont like looking at a smaller tf. lowest i would go would be actually daily, but sometimes i just tend to look at h4.

my advice is too not focus on gold anymore, dont focus too much entries on gold.
if you wanna long, close it at 100 pips, 200 if youre confident.
if you wanna short close it at 30 pips or 50 pips if your confident.

because this is just an analysis, we dont know the supply area above, it can be totally anything.
but we have prices below, theres is liquidity and a lot of supply.
but look at the photo, this is based on weekly and monthly.
lets talk logically. when u see the candle charts on this 2 charts. u would understand the price action that is about to happen.
its going to range and will create many hh and ll but within that range.
24XX might be the beginning

because lets say if we were to get the similar chart patterns on a daily, or best on a h4 this kind of pattern will stay bullish and price range between there.
so i can say maybe in the next few months. be it there be rate cuts, or whatsoever. it doesnt matter. i dont trade based on news or world events or even fundamentals.
just liquidity and price action. even with fomc giving rate cuts. usually price will start dropping after rate cuts next day. but instead, someone is playing with the market. i think its not just that. they are trying to play with price action. so please do not try to correlate, or based your trade on world news, or fundamental news.
because gold, same as oil are assets, natural assets which are limited on earth. that explain the scarcity of the asset.

it is unlike stock. where it is a company. it is also not like bitcoin, where it is digital. people can manipulate and try to make their own bitcoin.
you cannot recreate gold, or oil. it takes many years for them to be reproduce. maybe a thousand years. so please consider before trading gold

we will playing within the range of 2500-3000. its going to be like a ping pong to me.

please look again, before commenting. dont look at a smaller tf, instead look at the biggest timeframe.
