There is one problem. If the consistent traders after long time are no more consistent profitable. The best one with the most AUM is flat for 2024. If that continues and in first half of 2025 also no profits are made, I would assume he will loose a lot of investors. And the bad thing is, likely on most other such platforms like collective2 for example, most traders cannot deliver consistent returns for many years. So if it is rotation principle then the 2 required years are nothing worth, meaning there will be much less investors who finance their Darwins. I looked deeper myself into if it was a fit for myself being an investor. But I have these doubts, that the best ones are just rotating in their performance and other ones will be much better and the ones I have chosen will be flat or even worse they start to loose. That is issue with Darwin.

Absolutely. One leg up on the desk, scratching my balls while deciding to push buy or sell. As Capa said, ball scratching does help with the decision making. Some scratch their head, traders scratch their balls.

There is another problem if that rotation principle in delivered performance is for every Darwin more or less the case. The investors will invest some money and in 3 to 5 months they are out and want their money back. With that you cannot rely on any AUM you got from Darwin, as there is no longterm money. I know this from my own experience when I started to be independent advisor over a decade ago. If you deliver too much return they will look for an exit and the whole investment they made is gone. That happened to me too. I made like +100% return in 1 year without a loosing month and after that 1 year no investor had any money left on me. So in the end I was just alone and independent trader like I started the whole wash from outside investors you can usually forget. It is harder than most think here. There is also no lockup period or something with Darwinex, so anyone can come and go as they wish. And it will be very hard for investors to choose the right Darwin(s) if any left.

Well, if I stop being profitable, I am not making moeny anywhere. I trade YM, NQ and ES futures, making 25K per month on a 1,000,000 signal account is mind numbingly easy.

You know what.

Sweating on Darwinex is not worth to me.

I can put this same effort in Prop/Fx/futures and Real money account

You won't get 1 million AUM for sure. Who wants to invest in you if you trade knowingly part time and have other fulltime job ? No investor would trust you really.
It is all wash what they say on Darwinex. This is a trust problem, as most investors have only partial hot money for that left and then they look for an exit very fast too.

Just do not believe what you hear on Darwinex and elsewhere too. You should always question what you hear and read. The number one Darwin on AUM has a company behind. A swiss firm with manpower and money behind. It would be a different story, if that is an unkown parttime trader. The AUM would be 10% of that for sure, if.

If you cannot make a good living with your trading why should I be your investor on Darwin ? I would not do that. Regardless how you would perform there.
And if Darwinex cannot assure for most profitable traders that they can make a good living from the fees they get as percentage return, it is even worse, as any investor like myself would ask, from what are they make their comfortable living, if cannot do it over Darwinex ? I just say you this as being a potential investor on Darwin. I will have a look how my portfolio will perform over the next 6 to 12 months, then I might invest myself, but I am very unsure as I think the performance delivered by the Darwins rotate a lot. Then the whole backtesting and past performance is not indicative at all. And there is no Darwin like in the meaning of "Darwins principle".

Just do not take it personal please Pipmaster that I would not invest in you regardless what you delivered on Darwinex. But I am like any other investor, just very picky.

Perfect. That is my suggestion to everyone......trade Darwin slow and steady while making your income from props and personal account. Who knows? Darwinex may only lead to a few extra thousand per month or you may wind up with 10 million AUM.

It's a fair question to ask if "OFP's a scam", but as I've been trading with them for quite some time I can say definitively that OFP is NOT a scam.. Yes they have strict rules you must adhere to, and when you breach them your account gets closed. So what? It's the same with every prop firm, you break the rules you pay the price for it. Big whoop.. I love OFPs trading accounts and their incredible prices.. I don't get where you're coming from with this.

Once again, you are comparing apples and oranges. Darwinex is not a prop firm.....Man, you are one thick-headed individual. This is like the 20th time you are trying to compare Darwinex and casino prop side by side

Please do not be naive. You will never get those 10 million AUM. Just look on many other platforms. There are at least 10 big sites where investors can give money to traders. Only a very few can make a living of it. For over 99.9% is not that case. Any I know many investors who got sceptic and burned money as they thought this is a consistent trader (now). But there is mostly a rotation in the performances. It is really very rare that someone can deliver it over years. And even then it can suddenly stop and investors get burned. There are many examples outside of Darwinex. Anyone serious about trading at Darwinex should consider all the big sites where investors can give money to traders. There are lots of such social investing websites. I know collective2, wikifolio, but there are many other ones. Just do you homework before here. Darwinex is a niche player in that industry and very small. There are many other ones attracting more investors money if you want that. Do you own research and investigate before spending so much time on Darwinex alone. You could at least copy trade to 10 or 20 other such investor websites, to increase your chances to get more AUM. As I said investors are usually very picky and shy and over time they get awaken as many do burn a lot of money on such unkown traders!

I know one millionaire being an investor in such schemes. He is looking on all kind of different websites here. Maybe from Darwinex he has not heard so far. Also over MQL5, you can be advisor and they can invest into you with a subscription scheme. It is built-in Metatrader. He invested there too he said, but he is like momentum trading on traders performance, always rotating his investments among other traders every other month or quarter. So he tries to outsmart every trader all the time !

Just explain me when I was a nobody over a decade ago, trading alone and started to be an independent advisor and got initial 300k money, why all investors disappeared with their money after 1 full year. Not all at once, but every other month someone wanted to exit his investment. I delieverd +100% return and no loosing month. It was really not bad and I had no investor left after 1 year. What would be your lesson here ? I got my lesson. Do not rely on any outside investors at all.

We are putting same effort on both apples and oranges for different outcome.

So, comparison is worth.

Who knows.... on a long term basis , it may be worth to you
