If the EA disables Auto Trading, you will have to enable Auto Trading manually, or you can also do it from an indicator.
When the Auto Trading is disabled, the EA can not enable it, because the EA will not be working.
Also, there can be other problems.
If the first EA has tasks in queue, and AutoTrading is disabled, those tasks will still be executed, so it's possible that orders will still be sent.

And, disabling Auto Trading also disables all EA's.
So, the best solution is to write conditions for when to trade and when not to trade in each individual EA.

required is it should clearly draw lines on both price AND macd showing the divergence

Hi BestTraderEv,

I know you don't like pattern Indicators, but I really need your assistance with one such indicator. An engulfing indicator. But this one is a little different. The engulfing indicator is made of/considers at least 3 candles. For instance in a bullish engulfing scenario, the 1st candle is bullish, 2nd candle is bearish and engulfs the bullish candle and the 3rd candle can close bearish or bullish but never touch the bullish candle's body or wick. I have uploaded images for clarification. The reverse for bullish engulfing.

I have no idea how that could be done?
We could limit the number of bars to plot, but still we don't know if there will be 0, 1, 2, or 3, or how many? arrows plotted across that number of bars.
And, how can we calculate the number of buffer arrows???
We can not delete or change the color of individual buffer arrows, either.

If I'm not mistaken, you can do it using WinAPI and the program will still be able to disable/enable Auto Trading freely. Still, I totally agree with you, "

Does the OnTick() function still run in an EA when Auto Trading is diabled?
Does any section still run?

I can code the other conditions for 3 consecutive candles.
What are the conditions for more than 3 consecutive candles?
When is the pattern still your pattern, and when does it stop being your pattern if more than 3 candles are concerned?

This is another example of a broad idea and unspecific conditions.
Will every pattern look exactly like the one on your image?
What are the specific conditions for O, H, L, C of every candle of the pattern?

Hmm I believe so, it just won't place a trade (or do any of the trading operations)

No, we can not delete buffer arrows individually, or change any of their parameters individually.
We can only work with the whole buffer.
All of the Up arrows are one buffer.
And all of the Down arrows are another one buffer.
