  1. Meta Platforms is down -15.5% from its high
  2. Amazon is down -10.3% from its high
  3. Nvidia is down -19.41% from its high
  4. Apple is down -8.18% from its high
  5. Alphabet is down -10.39% from its high
  6. Microsoft is down -8.70% from its high
  7. Tesla is down -20.77% from its high

So normal correction and there is earnings news next week from AAPL, MSFT and META. Expecting good news overall and a rate cut by September from FED which should fuel the bull market again. Sorry for posting off topic from usual prop content.

You are missing one key information. It is almost 100-400% in last 3-5 years without any reason so it might get more corrected.

The accuracy of my 4H/DAILY triangle method is frightening. Good thing I was sound asleep when the level hit. To the pip on the Daily (insert applause here)

I should have set a limit order before bedtime. Nothing like waiting days on end and then when it happens I miss the home run trade.

Yes, when you have an accurate system like that, must set limit orders. When I do, I just go smaller if I will not be able to monitor. However, that is the advantadge of trading the indices......I'm usually awake and in front of it.

Day 9/15 of Darwinex Calibration, finally achieved recovery and profitability (from a drawdown of -17.36% to +2.56%). Today was quite good. Need 1.54% more to reach an assumption rating of 75 (4.10%). The drawdown was really bad, LOL .

Wow, if you hit 4.1%, even with a DD of 17%, you get an allocation. I guess DD is not weighted as heavily as profit?
Damn, I'm definitely going to fire another one up and go balls to the wall.

-16% will lead to significant reduction of risk ratio. Which makes 4.1% like 40%.
Darwin ratio will be down for another 45 days which will be again an opportunity loss and time loss.

The drawdown is calculated to be only 11% of the total rating value. It's just beginner's luck. I almost retired this account. Lol Maybe now I'll try trading a bit more relaxed, not going full throttle anymore.

I've been trying to emphasize this point as well. If you trade 15 lots you'll be in for a rude awakening after the calibration phase is over.

Sampat wanted to say this- most probably your max DD will be reduced with a factor 0.3 or 0.25 , but so is your gain. So after calibration your stats might look more like 4% max DD and 1% gain. But it doesn't matter anyway. If you are not trading linear sizes your risk factor adjusts daily - gradualy.

Yes, because i think it affects the payout safety from any prop. Without A booking or just 100% b booking there will be no sustainable prop business model, in the way how it is designed actually. But it must be done clever of course like the big FX broker are doing the A-booking. Because we have seen that many big props go bust over time, no new rules implementation can help their payout problems. It just give them little bit more time also any payout delays. It is like in the old days I know from Gain capital when they declared they are only b-booking and then kick out any profitable trader who is doing more than 5k profits. Same we see with FXIFY broker based prop. I think the b-booking model only is more attractive for props, as it is easier to implement and makes less cost. They just need to kick out any consistent traders.
