Many sell calls yesterday and where is the price .. never go against the trend. Most of the traders here still havent developed the feeling for how investment assets like gold move (its different to currencies) and call the tops or bottoms. It doesnt have any barriers, it goes up until it goes down, sky is the limit, while currencies are locked in a range. If you are not sure, use EMA200 on 5M to determine the intraday trend.

exactly, the problem is newbies like me when see the price stretch too much and we think there should be some retracement and then boom!

man don't remind me of that time. i was a kid that time. i don't even know what is long and short. one of my friend told me to start trade and lost a big amount of money and decided forex is not for me.

i started trading again a couple of months ago. still learning and now active in this forum, trying to learn from others and also trying to fix my greed and emotions, i guess it will come with experiences.

Hello, I'm not good at engineering or English, I send what I see, the parallel weekly chart shows that gold has reached its peak, basic multi-time frame trading, don't judge. Hopefully it helps investors to have confidence in themselves, if the end of the week does not exceed 2480.

don't even think about it, we all been there and done that in our start, just keep grinding and focus on direction and trade pullbacks.

There is no view that will satisfy you at this point. Im playing pure price action right now. When price gets to tops or bottoms or times of change it becomes extremely volatile. Plus we are in new high territory, price can really be wild. Your safest bet is tight stops. Buuuuuuut if you are already stuck in something thats different. I have a hard time longing into this candle after that move. I think ill watch to see how this next hourly candle ends up, then ill be back around with more thoughts.

I have a short from 2440, will add more at 2500 to 2550 range, hedged short until 2480 closed in time. Every dump fills in a moment, at this rate we will surely see 2500 to 2550 this week but above 2470 won't be right choice to buy. I will set my buy between 2440 to 2450. Buying above 2465 would be great risk.
