IF this 1h candle touch the sr level then i wll go long or wait for another 1h candle. in 5/15tf i will look for a small retest.

Hello. Can someone explain to me how Gold and Silver co-relate? I have been trying to grasp their co-relation but it seems that there will always be certain times during a trading session where they move in opposite directions, which is weird because both are fundamentally metals and largely affected by the strength of USD.

Right now, I see that Silver has faded to just +0.15% while it had a high of +1% for the day. However, Gold is holding steady at +0.60%.

I know they have different industrial uses-can someone tell me more about the differences? I have done my own reading, but somehow, I still think they should move in tandem.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the Forex Factory forum and excited to share my latest analysis on XAU/USD (Gold) using the H2 timeframe. I'd love to get some feedback and insights from the community.

Current Analysis:

- Entry Points (EP):
- EP1 Low Risk: 2385.05
- EP2 Mid Risk: 2381.77
- EP3 High Risk: 2378.49

- **Stop Loss (SL):** 2389.65

- **Take Profit (TP) Levels:**
- **TP Scalping:** 2373.50
- **TP1:** 2363.81
- **TP2:** 2350.68

**Chart Observations:**
- The price is currently hovering around 2371.27.
- The resistance zone is observed between 2378.49 and 2385.59.
- A break below 2370.73 could potentially reach the first take-profit level at 2363.81.
- The scalping point at 2373.50 provides a quick profit opportunity if the price fails to break above the high-risk entry point.

I'm using this setup to identify retracement zones and potential profit points. Any suggestions or improvements on my approach would be greatly appreciated!

When price reverses like that no matter which session, you'd better be prepared. That's how the liquidity providers trap and make money. Think of it like they need your liquidity to move the market if that makes sense.

Once I saw that I knew the trade lost most of it's probability. Was a C turned into a D trade, so pretty poor decision on my part. There was so many things wrong with that short trade.

They still need to take it down so we'll see if they try tonight before the big day tomorrow....I think they just might based on what I'm seeing.

Never-the-less, it was a great Long trade if you took it and got most of it. I had to try to recoup, but still took a nice hit. Trading is not an easy game, I'll never pretend otherwise even when I'm killing it, which is rare these days now.

Note: I was trading in the real futures market...that should tell you how razor sharp connected these markets are.
