I have seen that OneDirectionPerSymbol = true is working well on pairs like Xauusd, Nasdaq & usa30 only but not on currency pairs kindly check it my KING.... can you please add an option to allow the EA to keep adding or oppening trades on those l mention which are working as per trend when stop loss or take profits reach. it must keep opening trades and not only after changing the chart.

We define the LotFixed as the volume of a singe transaction,
We define the TradesAtOnce as the number of Pending Stop positions to open at once,
We define Slippage as whatever we like (it really doesn't do anything),
We define TimeFrame as the timeframe which the EA will be trading and reading the data from the Gann indicator,
We define Lb as the parameter for the Gann indicator,
Wedefine SignalBar as the Bar on which the EA will try to place the pending order when condition is met:
(by default it is the current Bar, however, due to circumstances described in post: #Post 69,064 we could select a different Bar),
We define StopLossBar as the last Bar for which the EA will search HighestHiigh or LowesLow:
(by default it is the current Bar, however, due to circumstances described in post: #Post 69,064 we could input a different numer of Bars).

The EA requires the: Gann High-Low activator.ex4
And the name of the indicator must be exactly: Gann High-Low activator.ex4
Any change to the name of the file, even the spaces, will result in the EA to be unable to find this renamed indicator.
And if the EA can't find this exact name, it can't read the data, thus it can't work.

Otherwise the EA has no other functions.
It will open pending Stop orders every time the Gann condition is met and once per Bar, if the Gann condition is met.

Explanation of EA messages:
"14:13:18.235 Walvekarraje_Gann High-Low activator_EA GERMANY40,M1: orders: 1"
means that EA has placed orders at the specified time (Bar)
"14:14:00.521 Walvekarraje_Gann High-Low activator_EA GERMANY40,M1: New Bar orders: 0"
means that EA is now free to open new orders if the Gann condition is met
"14:13:17.569 Walvekarraje_Gann High-Low activator_EA GERMANY40,M1: Buy too close to StopLevels!"
means that EA can not open Buy orders due to not enough room from order price (either SL or Entry price)
"14:03:26.524 Walvekarraje_Gann High-Low activator_EA GERMANY40,M1: Sell too close to StopLevels!"
means that EA can not open Sell orders due to not enough room from order price (either SL or Entry price)

These messages do not go to the broker's server, so they don't effect the limit of price requests.

Thank you BestTraderEv for great work. What would make this EA even more amazing would be if you add the ability to have more instances of the same Gann High-Low activator as a filter so we can trade in the direction of the Higher Time Frame.

Please specify:

  1. The trading timeframe for the EA
  2. The lower timeframe you prefer for the Gann High-Low Activator
  3. The higher timeframe for the Gann High-Low Activator

Once you provide these timeframe details, I can upload (my version of) the EA accordingly.

Hi BestTraderEv, Could you please code into the attached EA to do the following. Currently the EA trades against the trend and opens orders at X amount of pips. It opens Buys when price is going down and Sells when price is going up. If possible if it opens for example 4 buys then the 5th trade must be a Sell order whose lot size must be double the last Buys lot size. So we have buys of 0.01, 0.02, 0,04, 0.08 then the next order must be 0.16 and continue opening bigger orders if price keeps going down and vice versa for sell orders. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

got a chance immediately to test it on US 30 on M15
Requires few adjustments. 1) EA placed orders immediately on detecting signal. it should wait for candle to close.
2) the stoploss should be the low of the alert candle

I'm gonna complain, and still I'm gonna do it, but I ain't gonna check if this works!

This version conatins M15, H1, H4, D1, W1, and MN1 Gann filters.
You can select which Timeframe filter or filters you want.

I explained, it can't.
You need to add the StopLevel distance.
If you want it to be exactly on the H/L you must have a broker with StopLevel = 0.
It's either like this, or you won't get any position due to StopLevel.
We can modify the StopLoss when price moves away.

Oh, sorry, I just rechecked!
There is no distance added for StopLoss.
However, over my many years of trading I noticed that the actual StopLoss Price isn't usually exactly what we order from the broker.
That's why I coded a correction code on my EA's.
I can add that to yours. The code will check if the actual SL is exactly equal to the actual H/L, and correct it if it isn't.

Dear sir.
I am not programmer. I request for my simple idea of indicator mt4.

Condition is...........

The range of the second day can not break the range of the first day. In this condition the two lines are drawn at the high and low of the first day.
But this conditions may be many times at one months.So the number of period is manual.

That's not possible, unless you have something mixed up with MagicNumbers???
The code looks for trades in direction with the same Symbol and MagicNumber.
If you are using many instances on the same symbol with different MagicNumbers, then you will get trades in different directions.

I'm sorry, but as you can probably read, I am flooded with requests and busy with one project at a time!
In order to process all the request, I would need to have a team of about 10 programmers who would work for free...
