Some of my usual BS days when i am wreckless and stupid ...

1. Lost 10 Apex funded accounts. Thanks to Dow Longs it took 7 consecutive SL hit(personal record) of 30 points each with 2 mini's today. End of the day it started moving up after liquidating my 7 tries. Rest survived as i was playing with gold in these 10 accounts. Asia target hit (made extra) with sudden gold move up and my dow 15points.
2. Purchasing 10 250k with more time to pass to get that 85$ activation fees. This time will be sensible and surely pass.

I'm still not sure that I broke the rules but I guess I will find out soon enough. Well, if you consider soon anytime during the next 10 days.

Getting a payout approved feels similar to a cavity search in prison. Not that I have any experience with that

Selling 2 ES minis at 5292 is basically the same as selling 1 mini at 5290 and 1 more mini at 5294. I don't look at is as "adding" to a loser. Just selling a tight zone with 2 smaller positions. I checked out APEX discord last night for the first and LAST time ever and a few posters kept screaming DCA is a loser, DCA is a loser. I think there is a distinction between DCA, Martingale, and how I quasi scalp/intraday trade.

-Yes. Probably only a matter of time until others figure that out. Then, maybe Apex will prohibit any sort of quasi-martingale strategies to combat against 3rd-party service providers.

Fortunately, these rules do not stop honest traders from making profits. Unfortunately, honest traders may be erroneously targeted if the rules become too stringent. Oftentimes, it's the honest traders that end up getting hurt in the end (less flexibility and more risk of getting mistakenly flagged).

Why not just do 4 days of 150$ whats the point of rest of 4 days i.e total 8 days. SHould follow topstep in this case.

-I assume that it means that people can take micro trades, so long as half of their trading days are legit (+ or - $150). Although it would be better to just change minimum trading days to 4 and drop micro trades completely, I suspect that pushing the payout periods to 8-days allows for more time to approve and process payouts etc..

DCA have an easy fix again - Lower the leverage, but then of course failing the account is slower and selling dreams is harder.
100% gain for several weeks is possible only with very big risk, whatever (DCA or not) the strategy is. And yes, it is gambling.

not much can match golds return per day per micro lot...... waiting for a few things to line up, it might be the easiest 1 day pass ticker......

I saw you mentioning this previously and, though this is not against a DCA rule (I think), it violates the principle of that rule.
Not sure how they would act facing this.

Imagine:
I enter 1 micro at 5000 and another 1 at 4900. Both in loss so I close everything
Now I enter 3 micros at 4800 and another 1 at 4700. Both in loss so I close everything
Now I enter 5 micros at 4600 and another 1 at 4500. And so on.

I don't even know if the second position can be the same size of the first. If so is even more extreme.
For example I enter 3 micros at 4800 and another 3 at 4700

Would not bother me if:
- $150 is different in each account size (should be proportional)
- If 4 days >$150 are enough and I can flip another 4 days (to achieve 8 days), this is stupid. It's like the old FTMO allowing to pass in 1 day but we had to do 0.01 lots for another 9 days. Minimum days should be 4 days. If 4 days >150 then it should be good.
- Payment process should be much quicker

Anyway it's a move in the right direction I think.

Leverage isn’t adjustable on futures like it is on CFD’s.

Leverage, max number of contracts you name it.
The sim accounts 50k etc. are just marketing tricks and workaround. Actually you have 2500 with big leverage. The max contracts you are able to open is the leverage.

IMHO it should be good for you cause those who get denied are purposely using DCA as important part of their strategy not just adding occasionally in a trade that might with small loss already. Anyway keep us informed!
