FEDERAL RESERVE
Fed Chair Powell says inflation has been higher than thought, expects rates to hold steady.

Powell reiterated Tuesday that inflation is falling more slowly than expected, likely keeping interest rates elevated for an extended period.

Tuesday brought a fresh round of discouraging inflation data, when the producer price index rose a higher-than-expected 0.5% in April.

Bulls are on the run, but can suddenly stop their run when the got tired/here some rumors.
Prices to far away of their main MA lines. Pull back required.

Only light upside trading and waiting for profit taking (sooner or later)

Little scared of a hotter (+0.2%) PPI number/Euphoric on -0.1% lower Monthly CPI number

Totally unhinged but greed is good.
Keeps markets Vola and and makes me happy, thats the most important.

Longer term targets, but longer term targets can often be reached faster then expected. Specially South targets.

DOW needs to BO above 40.200 zone to march up to 40.500 zone. Still strong Bullish
Once below the 40K again maybe down to 39.750 MR1 Pivot

SnP Needs to BO above 5350 to try to reach the 5400
Once below 5320 down to 5300 BRN>>5280 very little TPO GAP

NQ Needs to BO above 18.750 to reach 19K zone maybe.
Once below 18.600 open road to 18.500 BRN/WPP/Last Wk VWAP close


DAX has the 19K as RS so far
Looks a developing H & S pattern
Test of the 19K again
or a drop to 18.700 and even 18.650<>600 M VWAP

ECONOMY
Soaring debt and deficits causing worry about threats to the economy and markets.

The federal IOU is now at $34.5 trillion, or about $11 trillion higher than where it stood in March 2020.
Debt held by the public compared to GDP will rise to “an amount greater than at any point in the nation’s history.
Fed Chair Jerome Powell said recently that “this is something that elected people need to get their arms around sooner rather than later.”

The agency forecasts a $1.6 trillion shortfall in fiscal 2024 — it is already at $855 billion through the first seven months — that will balloon to $2.6 trillion by 2034. As a share of GDP, the deficit will grow from 5.6% in the current year to 6.1% in 10 years.

Why is there always news like this when the markets make new record highs.......
