I think Apex is peaked now. But shall see, I thought they would go under 5 months ago so. They managed to keep afloat quite well. My guess they took a considerate market share due to their promotions years ago. But it must come a point where it will start to go downhill.
Also I like averaging median and going straight into losses full force with a set SL which seems to make most faint here just the thought of it, so theres that.

Exactly right. Judging by all the payout-related complaints about Apex right now, I’d say that point has already come. Or is just about to, at least.

You have yet to show any proof. You say its "all over the internet" and yet it's not.

When CFD Firms were having problems it was all over the various socials.

That's not happening at the moment with APEX.

Apex has the largest market share, before and after the the fall of CFD firms. No one knows what tomorrow may bring, but like I have said before, long term marriage to these firms is not wise.

They should be regarded as ATMs to fund one’s own personal accounts and investments.

There is a misunderstanding in this forum regarding prop firm changing rules to make traders better.
It is flat lie. Prop firms are protecting themselves. Lot of people are complaining about youtubers like alpine making money but if you go and watch his videos he repeats same thing on LIVE FUTURES AMP account.
Let me give you an example. For 50K account If I use monthly PA fees on apex it costs me 85$. Once I reach payout threshold I request if I withdraw 2K out of 2.6K threshold. Does it make sense to build account from 600$ to again 2.6K or should I spend 100$ and get new account?
APEX complaining about misusing system is like drug cartel who is giving drug to user and advising to use it will care.
Again apex is a great firm but they should have enforced rules way earlier lack of staff is silly excuse. It is obvious traders needs time to adjust once such heavy drug supply is reduced

So all you have is a few complaints from a forum thread and that's it. Hardly proof of anything. There's nothing more in that thread then baseless conjecture and conspiracy theory's.

When CFD props were (and currently are) cascading with payment problems, it's all over the socials, ie Twitter, Youtube, etc. It rather easy to find out.

With your own private account you bad do whatever and the risk is all your own. Positive and negative.

Some of these rules would also apply if one was to be at a brick and mortar prop firm, if not worse.

Agree 100% traditional brick and mortar prop firms are way more expensive. Its their house their rules we have to obey if we want to milk them.
As I said earlier apex is most reliable existing prop firm in the market.
My concern is not rules its Hypocrisy of reasons for enforcing things.
Only disagreement is they are saying people are scamming them but million dollar question is they want to get more evals and traffic thats why they have 20 accounts, 1 day sale plus 80% discount. As I said earlier drug dealer cannot give moral lessons to drug addict. Once some one gets addicted they dont have control of usage

There’s no disagreement here that the lax rules on the evals promote the yolo crowd behavior.

Sincere question, because we know that the fees are crucial, but we also know that making better traders may not benefit them financially unless they can accumulate enough trading data to justify backing traders with real capital. Perhaps there are other ways to generate income from that data, though.

Positioning themselves in such a way may help to further-legitimize the business while minimizing unwanted regulatory scrutiny, but I wonder if they would be shooting themselves in the foot in the process.

Trader improvement only comes from the trader themselves. There’s people that are convinced that they have an edge over the market by whatever scheme they get roped into. There’s a reason why HFT’s exist because the longer you’re in the market the higher the chance you’re going to get run over.

Now what does this have to do with what you asked? Probably nothing, but I honestly have no idea if their recent business decisions can support their current business model. Time will tell.

Its always a personality opinion who views things with what perspective. In my previous post i mentioned prop firm rules helped me improve or overcome struggles/issues i had with trading for long time. Not everybody going to think like this but if you bring in layman ask a common sense question which one will be more profitable skilled trader over time following these hard rules or yolo behaviour you’ll get your answer. Not talking about any specific prop firm just my 2cents.


BTW YOU TAKING A BAD EXAMPLE alpine even if he repeats on personal account that yolo behaviour wont last. He is surviving on luck most of the times i have seen many times on his streams. Also he is gloating about it and motivating his viewers to go that path which is horrible(count yourself in as well coz you advocating his methods). That trading style i am not supporting cos i have done it myself and i have the results myself. You get lucky making big sometimes but overtime it’ll catch you.
Also you have answered your own question why build the account when you can get a new one right. Prop firm is not in the business model to give out single payouts. They are filtering out CONSISTENT TRADERS to put on live account like topstep n others with proper risk management not LUCKER. They will do best to harden the rules to get the best traders out of the list. Best example is mat youtube check his channel thats more like a consistent disciplined trader
