Again, if you would get your head out of your ass you would know that Topstep does NOT give you a live account when you pass the combine so NO funds are at risk. If you prove you are consistent over time they would contact you about switching you to a live account.

Oh look it’s the other sock puppet right on cue. There’s far more nowhere and that link is something has already been discussed ad nasuem here this past week.

Looking at that thread on nexus is something alright. Especially the loathsome chap who posted a “financial commission” site that nobody heard of based in China of all places. Sounds like the garbage you and your “lemon party” buddy of yours would say. You got royally roasted there as well.

Agreed, as predicted, the sketchy migrants from CFD prop came over to futures prop and created havoc. Was only a matter of time till they get reigned in.

As i always say no company no matter how good the reputation is, has grievances. Also it is always two sides of the coin so dont focus on 2% of failed cases instead look at 98% of happy customers (those must be doing something great decode them). If anyone being denied there should be proper reasoning not like forex prop firms they just say "YOUR TRADING STYLE TOO RISKY WE NOT GONNA PAY YOU".

I am not a APEX promoter. But SO far I have seen all good from them personally(payout to trading conditions to support without any delays) and heard good for them from other real APEX traders.

SO in the end as i always say ITS YOUR MONEY, TIME, RISK and EFFORTS. Its your own decision if you dont like move on.

Btw not point fingers just my 2 cents.

Honestly, Most of my confusion is due to youtube streamers crying like alpine, volatility trading, patrick etc. APex is trying to cleanse their type of trading style which is either my way or highway.

-I'm not sure. These are preexisting rules that have likely not been heavily-enforced up to this point. Which begs the question about what their plans might be going forward.

I have to wonder about the wisdom of enforcing such rules, given the fee-driven nature of the model, as weeding out bad traders may create insolvency issues over time. I imagine that they must have their hands full with bad actors that are trying to game the system. Perhaps they will begin to buckle down by using such terms to aid them in their endeavors.

Certainly, having the rules in place will afford them more discretionary control over who they allow to trade, which is good for the majority, so long as their intentions and actions are responsible and honest (i.e. the rules are not abused like we see with FX prop). However, having more rules in place (and enforcing them across the board) will eventually lead to better traders, and what that might look like for Apex is currently unknown.

What i understood from rule changes that people are crying for. I think the major reason being big youtube streamers gloating about it and motivated their crowd to go the same route.

1. 1:3 or 1:4 risk reward max - I am like, if you profitable trader over time you won't be doing these dumb things as its always be other way around i.e smaller stop losses and bigger targets. Plus personally, this rule will improve you as a trader. Even Darell in the video gave nice examples with an 80% win rate still far away from profitability thats pure common sense.
2. Second one is DCA - Man whoever is crying over this seriously needs to take a moment for self realization why he/she is not profitable. Adding to losers is a recipe for disaster FASTER. You'll be LUCKY able to win some and get out of the hole a few times doing this(i am also the culprit of doing this and learnt my lesson) over time you'll lose more faster than you make.

In my personal opinion, these rules are in favor to become a SKILLED PROFITABLE Trader not talking in perspective of prop trading.

I have always thanked forex prop firms rules/regulations to force me to become BETTER RISK MANAGED trader. AS ALL OF GUYS HERE LIVING PROOF OF WHERE I WAS LAST OCTOBER BLOWING CHALLENGES AFTER ANOTHER AND NOW I AM PASSING CHALLENGES LIKE A PIECE OF CAKE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS TIME AND GETTING BIG PAYOUTS.

So to put in perspective how things changed for me. FIRST FORCED TO STOP 5% a day or a trade loss (YOLO at least with a defined 5% loss a day) --> Learned to aim for big targets and think in terms of percentages not dollars --> then 2% forced stop from (fundingtraders) improved me further to cut losers faster, n then for my surprise my accounts survived longer --> then ftmo swing accounts made me patient with my entries and consistent (took 32 total trading days with 98% conssitency to pass both phases coz fear of losing being expensive n their prime status rule not to fail challenges) --> then came in apex trailing to force me to improve my entries to max in order to find winners without drawdown --> n finally the cherry on top for me is consistency rule that forced me to build a plan to aim for certain targets n close trading (NO MORE OVER or REVENGE TRADING). Overall all this helped me to become better and more profitable trader.

In the end if you think from prop business perspective they want you to succeed as trader and them as a company so that can make money together. High Risk Gambling behaviour wont help anyone.

NOT GLOATING ADDING SCREENSHOTS OF MY LAST 3 FIRMS Challenges. ALL STATS SCREAM THE SAME THING THAT I MENTIONED ABOVE SMALLER LOSSES, BIGGER WINNERS, CONSISTENT TARGETS, BETTER RISK MANAGEMENT AND MORE ACCURATE ENTRIES.

-If I had to guess, you are probably right about youtubers (and other traders). Probably, Apex put the hammer down, which caused an uproar of complaints and confusion, ultimately leading to Apex having to clarify the rules.

Apex site really bugs me. How it is possible to operate with so much money and have so bad UX?

Today I received email asking for ID verification. Auto check failed. Now my account is blocked with warning sign. I am trying to reach support, so I clicked on Help Desk. A new window has opened where I need to sign in again. On main site I am signing with Username and Password. On support site Sign In asks for Email and Password. When I use my email and the password it does not accept it. So how am I supposed to contact support?

Furthermore on their Discord server at the moment it is not possible to ask anything, because they have blocked new users, probably temporarily.

Create a support ticket they will manually verify you in a day or so. Same thing happened to me. You dont need to sign in to create a ticket.
WHen you click the second one --> its opens a new page at bottom there is a "I agree" button there you go

What a stupid decision to not have easy option to reach them from your account.

You can call me conspiracy theorist but I believe that this is done on purpose. Since I did not asked for payout but just passed 10 evals in one day and payed them, my suspicion is that the system is designed that way just to break your winning streak.
Same as almost all other firms, Apex is counting on failing accounts and all their promos and policies just push your to reckless trading. Once the flow of new customers goes significantly down they will shut down. I am pretty sure that they do not need any winners and the moment they start declining payout they will go underwater.

I don't understand your reasoning. If you have already signed and paid for your PAs, you can trade them even if your account is locked for verification purpose. Your trading accounts are not blocked. What you can't do is buying a new eval, but that doesn't fit with the rest of your narrative.

Btw, you can access Discord immediately by getting the verified role using the funded certificate in your confirmation email. You would not need to log in for that.

You can also can not cancel subscription for other Evals, you can not buy more during the promotion, you can not see your credentials if you need them. What's the point to not have access to your data? Why there is not a simple explanation what to do, no email, no support link, but just a big warning sign and all tabs are not accessible? How much time is lost to wonder what to do and how to reach them?

This stress just breaks your concentration. This is definitely the opposite of smooth user experience. You do not need psychology degree to see that.

1/ Certificate is not send to your email and you do not have access to it because ....
....Step 5: Find your Certificate next to the payment link (instruction in the email you get)

2/Fortunately I have had downloaded it before and just tried your suggestion. Yes I got the role, but guess what - when trying to post my question Nothing is send it the main-chat. My text just disappeared. 2 times.

man long story short it happened to me and some other people here as well. Not a big deal. Their kyc seems broken a bit. They manually verify right away.

I just skimmed the last pages of that thread and I must say that "claims" of people not agreeing with rules, finding them too complex, not understanding rules, thinking that the promos of 1 day are a scam, etc. it's not the same than claims of denied payouts.

Denied payouts based on fake reasons is the only thing we should care about (no matter if that's futures of CFDs btw).

I have already said that 4 or 5 times in this thread. I used Top Step in the past and orders were NOT going to real market. I made the trail audit myself at the time.

Online props are casino games. They need gamblers (it's not like real props). They can't survive without gamblers.

They need to balance the aggressiveness in rules. Don't want to scare gamblers but can't allow gamblers to hit them hard.
